@mateo soletic said: I agree with Mike that this little girl Yang Peiyi should not have been substituted by Lin Miaoke. This is a big injustice to the little Yang who obviously has the tallent but hasnt got the required looks or at least someone thinks this way. And for the people that think that this is fuss over nothing let me tell You something about these countries like China. I lived most of my life in a socialist/comunist state that was once called Yugoslavia. In those countries being a individual is nothing . The individual only exists to serve bigger cause. So now they took her voice tommorow they will take her kidney . Believe me I have been there. And the worst thing the communists did is with peoples minds. If these people had to choose between democracy and totalitarism The majority would even now choose the latter. It will take generations to change this. And if we keep saying that this is fuss over nothing it will take even longer. Mateo Thanks for saying this, Mateo. I DO think this substitution is a big deal. It shows how desperate the Chinese government is to put on a happy face to the world. I'm not fooled. In fact, things like this just reinforce my sentiments.

the Sh#t house is funny. Here's a typical comment heard just before the residents leave and go on vacation: " Honey did you remember to close the Lid on the Sh#it house" Hehehe.

It seems green technology is popping up everywhere, but not on the market where it should be.I find it amazing that some of these technologies have been around for a very long time and still we don't have an eco car in our garage. Now besides these eco cars we also need to invent some ozone generators and climate/weather control.

Thanks guys! Jeez, it says a lot about Autocad/Autodesk that placing an image in a dwg file and saving it should be as complicated as that! Thanks again,

@remus said: 600pics/3 hours=200 pics per hour= approx 1 pic every twenty seconds. Im no expert, but id say tis a bit ambitious to do that for 3 hours straight well if all he wants is a stickman with no background then i'd say it's pretty doable, but then again i'm no expert either, nor do i feel like proving it

Do you have a 'compatibility files...' area on the top bar when you open the folder where they should be ? Sometimes Vista moves files into special sub-folders 'to protect you'... It happens to me when I tweak a ruby script but when I run it the old version runs because Vista's put the new one in this stupid folder so I won't do anything bad !!! . Good luck...

If you go with #2, use a lower case Y on the second "you". Otherwise the eye stops too quickly, anticipating a new thought.

I can't believe this thread has gone on for 12 pages! but having said that, I need to add my 2 cents to this philisophical discussion. . .or rather 2 cents that I swiped from Monty Python. . . *Immanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable. Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table. David Hume could out consume Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, And Wittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as sloshed as Schlegel. There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the raisin' of the wrist. Socrates himself was permanently pissed. John Stuart Mill, of his own free will, after half a pint of shandy was particularly ill. Plato, they say, could stick it away, 'alf a crate of whiskey every day! Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle, and Hobbes was fond of his Dram. And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart: "I drink, therefore I am." Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed; A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed. -- Monty Python* I remember just enough of my philosphy courses to screw me up for the rest of my life!
