Daniel, Agree with your comments about the textures. Still struggling with the u.v. mapping stuff. Thankfully all presentations are n.p.r. and I don't have to hit 100% accuracy in the textures. The assets are mainly about working out relationships in space. Also timelines can be tight. As for organics out of you league, I've seen enough of your posted models, you do excellent work. If you needed to do the organic stuff I'm sure you would figure it out.

Good start, but could use some improvements. You need to pay attention more to how you apply your wood textures. On the desk and chair the textures are all running in the same direction; in reality, they wouldn't. Each piece is composed of individual horizontal and vertical pieces of wood, and the wood grain should reflect that. The texture used for the wood flooring and wood paneling appear scaled up too large. That is probably why they appear out of focus. Your window looks strange: the upper sash is very narrow compared to the bottom sash, and the muntin bars are strangely spaced.

There is something decidedly dodgy about the last few posts. An assistant professor? Looking to download a model from the warehouse? I would think the architecture department of any university would have more than enough models to use in any study.

These "garden room" structures are really starting to take off, and yours is a particularly fine design. This is hot off the press for something that the developers are hoping will grab attention here in the UK: http://www.homesandproperty.co.uk/property-news/news/ps8000-micro-house-future-londons-generation-rent

Lovely, clean renders, with a nicely limited colour palette. It can be tricky to get a good angle on a restricted space like this, but you've really made it work. If I was being really picky, the only thing I'd change is the cropping on the left of the image: cropping tight to the edge of the TV feels a bit awkward. I'd try a slightly loose or tighter crop. But that really IS being picky . These are great! A

I dropped the shell by 1.75 inches and the suspension attachment bars by 3 inches which will allow the body to achieve the lower centre of gravity mentioned above. Some of the frame is in as are the disc brakes which will come from a street bike. The actual suspension hydraulic units will also come from a street bike but are not attached yet. Organics are hard for most people. I'm still learning how to make decent curves just on machines. I could not hope to achieve this yet. Good work!
