Looking good. Blender is quite hard, but it has incredible tools.

Hello Walt, the best I can come up with would be for me to post a model and let anyone who wants to texture and render it. The community could then offer help and advice, not sure if anyone else would participate though. John

@daniel said: Well, Paul, you know me - I'm gonna be honest and blunt. I find this batch of renderings to be pulchritudinous. If English poet John Keats was right when he wrote that "a thing of beauty is a joy forever," then pulchritude should bring bliss for many years to come. That word has already served English handsomely for centuries; it has been used since the 1400s. It's a descendant of the Latin adjective pulcher, which means "beautiful." Pulcher hasn't exactly been a wellspring of English terms, but it did give us both pulchritude and pulchritudinous, an adjective meaning "attractive" or "beautiful." The verb pulchrify (a synonym of beautify), the noun pulchritudeness (same meaning as pulchritude), and the adjective pulchrous (meaning "fair or beautiful") are other pulcher offspring, but those terms have proved that, in at least some linguistic cases, beauty is fleeting. You have always shown yourself to be sapient, and you have shown that again in your critique of my work. Thanks Daniel

I have an airfield HDRI from open footage that i have used a few times perhaps you are thinking of the same one ? Most of the aircraft i've used recently have no landing gear I am considering modelling a hangar at some point, i was inspired by this image: [image: DAf6_Typhoon_Aircraft_At_RAF_Coningsby_MOD_45155052.jpg]

@stinkie said: Edit: sorry, I had to mess with one of your images. Couldn't resist, as it looked so very, very tempting. I somewhat overdid it -don't drink and post process, kids! No problem Stinkie, you did over do it but I like the bloom effect. I don't worry much about adding those effects as my aim is basically to study architecture. @chedda said: Great job, has all the ingredients for realism. Yup, I shall not do this often again. It's basically too much for what I need. I like to do it as sort of a hobby though. Thanks for your comments guys!
