Awesome work Carlos!! Can't figure out if this is a render or an actual photograph!!! yeah I know that it's a render but still wanted to say that?? Have you done any post processing in this render or just straightaway jpeg export from vray frame buffer?? The lighting, materials, shadows are looking really amazing...!!! Good job!!!

Hi! the scene is well done, to me, but... any further info? it seems you've used some render engine.. but the image looks pretty like a raw SU view. And what's the purpose? I mean if you're working for a photorealistic scene there are so many issues yet...

Wish I could build something like this in the future! I got the open layout idea from one of my archi books! 3d modelling with SU + manual rendering medium used: kuricolor and touch markers, colored pencils, pencils, white ink, eraser, metallic inks, soft pastel Whow this is nice work. stylish. thank you sir! sytlish it is, because its not my grandfather's law firm! haha

@unknownuser said: this is funny. I only saw the first page, but Whow this is cool stuff. You are really good. very very impressed! Thanks for your compliment, but in fact I am average modeler/renderer ... these objects are very very simple. Whole "magic" is only in setting up illumination and the right point of the view ...

@sketchnl said: @solo said: Jeremy I really like this model, very cool concept. If you want to share the model I can make it available for a 'render this' challenge for all to try using different render apps. Whow I feel very honoured. What's the meaning of this challenge. Do you know, what program can I use for the lights. How can I post the model.? Hi sketchnl, You post the model using the upload attachment bar at the bottom of the posting page. ultimatez

@solo said: Welcome to SCF Jeremy. Great first post mate, what render engine did you use? (Looks a little like Vue from the tree) My only observations are: Shadows are too dark the entry arch has bumps reversed Windows look like they are photos (looks like flat interiors) Thanx to you I use Vue 8. because twan (PUGZ1983) is a friend of mine. We start drawing together a few years ago. Only I have internet since a few days. Thanx for your comment. And yes, the windows are pictures. I took a few pictures and made some materials of it, with photoshop. Normally I use kerkythea, but vue is a deffently level up. please excuse me for my bad english. greetz jeremy

Hy Frederik, Thanx for the feedback.I love Kerky. Been working with it for a year now. Recently gave Twillight a try. Also very nice and I love the Interface. Hope Displacement wil be an option soon. and maybe an upgrade in the Instance spray option in Kerky ( If Kerky is still in active development? ). Something like the ecosystem spray in Vue would be nice . Greetz from Twan

Thanks for the explanation Joel. Its a process that I had not thought about. It sure does take a lot of time though. I wonder if any of the guys here might have some ideas on how to make the process faster.

Pretty cool style, Adam. I like it. By the way, I hope my fantasy and sci-fi sketchup art inspired your son to play with Sketchup again. Best, _KN
