Rider, we have a dedicated SP subfoum down on the main index page > special interests. I have moved your topic there now - it would be better to keep posting there as it gets better ttention by SP users here.

In case someone else gets stuck on this, you can download LazyScript, install it, click the 'UI' button, and put the required ruby script in the box at the bottom, probably best under the item 'comp'. Either this or you can download a third party ruby console plugin (not the existing sketchup ruby console). I am working on a really unique SP project - two joysticks, over 20 different machinery functions being simulated - but I am facing many challenges given the lack of documentation and lack of SP discussion on the forum now. If anyone expresses interest I can put up what I learn about joint control here..... its quite fun and I am learning (through trial and error) many things that I haven't seen discussed on the forum. Or in other words I only want to know why energy is not conserve in sketchyphysics. Because if they was no non-conservative force when a ball would be rolling it should never stop but it does.

For those interested in specified directions: Find: module AudioToolbox extend DL::Importable dlload '/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Versions/Current/AudioToolbox' and change to: (note blue line at bottom) module AudioToolbox extend DL::Importable dlload '/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Versions/Current/AudioToolbox' dlload '/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioUnit.framework/Versions/Current/AudioUnit'

OK, another plug for Miku Miku Dance: Take a look at this video [flash=425,344:15sbrqiy]http://www.youtube.com/v/DU08c8h6a2U[/flash:15sbrqiy] This was made using the open source software "Miku Miku Dance", which is able to import SketchUp models. The trains, I think, are actually driven by the rotation of their wheels, and a "Camera Follow" effect is used to keep the view on one of the trains. Something like this can be made using SketchyPhysics, I'm sure.

Nice work though I'm not sure it is quite there. If your intent is for the platform to rotate about a fixed axis you have a problem in that the distance from the top fixed rotation point on the linkages must vary as the device rotates. If you intent is for the platform to both rotate and go up and down you probably need a slider (or piston) on each side. I'll try and take a stab at this this weekend. Keep plugging away.

Hi, After stopping at your intermediate point, you can create a new file from file menu save-as without switching from sketchyphysics. Good luck Ogan

You may want to see the video I prepared for a different thread in this form. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74ji-NXsdDI I think you need to make your blocks into groups in order to make them interact with physics. Also, there is a lower limit to the size of an object that will work with physics. Once you have separately grouped each of your blocks, they should fall under gravity when you start the simulation.
