A biomedical device model - help needed

Hi All,
I am establsihing a biomedical device model using SP. The device is composed of three parts: base, lid and protection cover. The base is unmovable, the lid and protection cover should be lifted up a little bit and rotated CCW. However, I cannot let the lid move by adding a hinge connector. Anybody can help me on that?
