sure this is very helpful if you work with a lot of files:

You can see all files as small tumbnails. It reads different files and you can also save them as different. Also convert files with batch command or polygon reduce with batch command and much more is possilbe. I could not be without it!

enter this in on ruby console:

It will remove the grey parts...

I installed in on XP but deleted it again after because i guess i do not need. So now SU starts still with the select tool... By default is starts with the pen, right? I mean i like it when it starts with the select tool but i am just wondering.

In SU8 there is new function "sonnennorden" (german) With this i can move the shadow 360° around like i wish to do

On image you see the calibrationspoints i painted with pencil on wall/floor. Calibrations mode is manually. Camera is rotated 90° to right. And you see also my home made laser motor i made with an old fan . It rotates from left to right. And i had to use an wide-angle objective to the camera. On the david forum i have made a more detaild post about the whole stuff.

When saving only the file as skp file the size is about 30 MB. As 3ds about 5.42 MB.
As a 3ds files it has 156179 faces. The original file is to save as obj file and then it is very large and rough. I hade to smooth it somehow with special software. The sofa has been scanned from different sides and then put the scans together as one. In general in the david forum are sure some really experts if you need to know more details. As in rendering also my 3d scans are to use but far away from perfect But it was fun to realise it!

RengerGin import 3ds or obj works only when the file is for example on desktop. When on other folders may an error message is coming. Please load the foles on desktop and it should work. What does anybody think about RenderGin?

I know that some people know David Laserscanner. I like to tell here that i scanned some sofas in real size. That was really very interresting to do. If someone like to do the same i can help David Scanner original is just for small things. On picture you can see a scan.

I am sure this problem has been posted already but i did not found the solution for this i guess known problem: As you can see on images the toolbars will not go back to the original position when i minimised the SU window and maximised again. This is very nerving and i am sure that you folks have a way to fix it.
