Not your fault. My bad: as Box said, I should have included some definition of what the links provided.

I've tried adjusting the options for the various formats but none of them come out looking too good. I've been messing around with Layout export options and the results actually seem worse than if I export directly from SU.

It seems that SU tops out at maybe 200 dpi, but all the lines still appear pixelated. I would really like a 720 dpi image so that it conforms with my other graphic settings.

Prime Gray (yes it's SLA) and Form 1 prints should be very similar. Prime gray also has those little bumps from the support structures.

In your case, I'd look up someone with good reviews on 3DHubs or MakeXYZ with a Formlabs printer and have them make some parts for you to see if they're good enough for what you need, and go from there. Might turn out to be your best option!

I've tried making multi-hinge chained objects with dynamic tools but they don't work correctly when trying to connect them in a hierarchy, like an arm. At least I haven't found a way to make them work. I thought by doing successive grouping would isolate each section of the chain as it grows, but for some reason that didn't work as you would expect.

I've noticed that SU isn't exactly highly efficient in the way it deals with high polygon counts and my current project has a lot of radii so the lag is noticeable.

Prokrastinator, your solution is the best one I've seen so far on anywhere on the net. Can you explain how your solution works? All of the rotations are linked to a counter so they keep moving until the counter reaches a certain point?

Just gotta say that the Tgi3D plugin is amazing. I've been messing around with it, trying to familiarize myself with how it works, and I'm just stunned. 👍

There also a handy plugin from Liquid98 called "Boolean Helper" that gives you a couple of new toolbar buttons for very quickly scaling up and down - there's a choice of scale factors, and it even automatically zooms to make sure you can see everything when the size changes.
