I am thinking that the pavement in the first image would actually be lighter where it is worn out from use and darker where not used as much- perhaps the opposite of what you currently show?

I've been crashing since the upgrade. Too early to know what's been causing it, but i had three crashes with one fourty-five minute class- talk about embarrassing after exhorting all my students to upgrade!!
I'm on a MB Pro and no updated drivers have been posted, so i don't think it's a driver issue.

First, you will want to download version 7 for free. Overall it is faster and more stable. Both versions will import .dwg or .dxf from AutoCad. Usually you want to bring SketchUp into Max and not the other way, but if you must, simply export from Max as a .3ds and import that into SU.

the only problem is that if i resize my window or just open SU- more often than not my toolbars are all messed up! i can usually figure out how to move them back into position, but having to take two minutes to do this EVERY TIME i open SU is ridiculous!
Google needs to fix this asap!!! if not sooner. It makes me feel like i'm using a beta version of SU.

I hear ya! it's so annoying to have to rearrange my tool bars EVERY TIME i start using SU. Google- please, guys- fix this and bring back our back button on the component browser while you're at it. This is pretty basic stuff- no other program i have loaded on my computers suffers from this ill.
