Here is a whole bedroom set. Once again no mattress or pillows could be shared.
These are fantastic models and the renderings you've made to display them are lovely. Thanks for sharing these!

Thanks guys!
I managed to get all the dialog boxes of 1001bit fixed following the suggestions on the css;[attachment=0:1pgsvrh4]<!-- ia0 -->black_textbox_patch.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1pgsvrh4]
It's a lot of work to edit all the html files, but at least the problem is solved.
Cheers!
what files exactly did you modify?

I found the same problem last week. The source of the problem is the Safari update that Apple pushed out last week (5.1.7). Here's a work-around for dynamic components: make the following edits in red to the manager.css and configurator.css files. (located in Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/Tools/Dynamic Components/css)
In Manager.css:
.edit-field {
position: absolute;
border-top: 2px solid #3063C9;
border-left: 2px solid #3063C9;
border-right: 2px solid #A5C4FF;
border-bottom: 2px solid #A5C4FF;
background-color: white; font-size: 12px;
font-family: sans-serif;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
overflow: hidden;
padding-left: 2px;
padding-top: 1px;
border: 1px solid #000000;
}In Configurator.css:
.config-field {
width: 100%;
font-size: 11px;
font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;
height: 22px;
background-color: white;
border: 1px solid #000000;
}.config-field-readonly {
width: 100%;
font-size: 11px;
font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;
height: 22px;
background-color: threedface;
border: 1px solid #000000;
}
Thank you!! this worked for me!!!
These are the kind of evening shots i would like to be doing! I am interested in how you get the reflections in the pavements.
This is a good example of SU as BIM for the rest of us
Thanks for sharing
Wow! this is some of your best work!! Really shows off the various products you used too- they should pay you to promote their products

Hi guys, it seems that two new user who go to classes are here. What sort of classes are they?
It's a course i teach at Andrews University in Michigan. We learn SketchUp, Photoshop, and inDesign and then whatever else the students may have an interest in. It's a semester long course and one of the requirements is to become a member of this forum; it's a wonderful place for help and a great environment in which to learn. Thanks for welcoming each beginner who joins!
First of all, Welcome~
I would read this forum and look over the work people do; you can learn a ton from just cruising around here. If you have more specific questions there are member always willing to help!
Have fun here.
Does anyone know why this happens when i use DR (network rendering) with vfsu?
I've been having this same issue...thanks for the advise!
I suspect you own one of those and have spent the last 10 years modeling it- am i right?!
Nicely done.
This is absolutely brilliant!! thanks for this!!
where's the like button on this faceUcationSketchBook page?
I can't use the plugin...this is all i get. I'm on a Mac and use SU8

Its a fine render
but corinthian order is different. Too many mistakes here. Especially this small sphere in corner.
Thea is a fine render engine but all render engines need some 'food' even less advanced than thea.
I really have to remind you this thread.
http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=32148Now, how many faces are here? A lot as I can see. Can you build a huge temple with this density? "my" version isn't more than ~20-30 k tri faces. This is the challenge, I suppose so. A real PITA.
Thanks.
Yeah, I know it's not the real thing but it was the closest thing I had on my hard drive. I plan on modeling my own as soon as time permits. Currently my third year students are drawing the Corinthian order and it's so inspiring to see all the variations from the plethora of renaissance architects interested in interpreting it for themselves.
I think when i model my own it will be pretty high-poly. I am very interested in how you did yours- I'll be looking over that post very closely. Thanks for it.
