Sorry I don't know about 5 or know of ruby but if its anything like 6 with copy and paste - Select the object to copy Choose an insertion point with the move tool. (don't worry when the object moves as you move the curser to select copy, because after using copy and then holding down Ctrl+V the original one appears back in it original position) Copy object or you could use Ctrl+C Then Holding down the Ctrl+V keys when pasting you get multiply copies to paste were you want, with a insertion point. EDIT SEE MY POSTS BELOW TO CHANGE INSERTION POINT

That's it tom............wonderfull balance! And though I hate to say it - my eye and attention is drawn to the spear like tree branch shadow coming from the lower right side and pointing right at the center of the image - maybe just litghten it up a little in photo-something. Bytor

tom- i've had a lot of luck controlling the intensity of some of the squiggle/wet process with this technique, I will export one stylized jpg and one "clean" jpg (very simple lines/colors), and layer them in photoshop with with clean jpg underneath. Then you can either use a mask on the stylized layer to slowly reveal cleaner areas where you want them, or you can carefully erase the top layer (but you cannot reverse your work this way) you can use different opacities in your erasing as well I've used it here to tone down the jitter on the business man component, but this works great with the other effects as well- if you need to tone down the watery effect in certain areas of detail just layer an unadjusted sketchup output with no lines underneath and reveal it where you want it. Usually I will not reveal it 100% to keep some stylized look in the area [image: tbGS_01.jpg] [image: wAhb_02.jpg] [image: iIvG_03.jpg] [image: dOY0_04.jpg]

And I want your president (hell, any leader at any level in any country) to be smart enough to understand that 'respect' is not even close to 'fear'.

I want to say Congratulations to you, American People, the things are now put on the table to choose, and this videos shows to me that after all, you keep united in the basis of the good humour, which for me, is a perfect point to start from. cheers and good luck.

I have to agree with everything you say. As for how to turn the whole thing in to less of a circus, i wouldnt be sitting here spouting my opinion to all and sundry if i knew how to do that. And no cold beer for me, just a warm bed and a slight headache. Theres always the lie in though.

A long boot time makes me also wonder if Windows is trying to locate something or other over the network from a location that it cannot access or that no longer exists. That is what happens in our corporate environment when the network is down. Also, for instance, old Word documents take an age to open if they have stored a reference to a nonexisting template file in an obsolete network location. Anssi

I'm certainly no fan of John McCain, but that video is so obviously faked/badly edited, it serves his campaign better than the Democrats'! At one point you clearly hear the start and end of a word that is subtitled as "f*cking" and it neither starts with "f" nor ends with "ng". I think it's safe to say I don't share Ron's political stance, but I completely understand why this topic got his heckles up: blatant lies and faked footage from either side really annoy me too- it's hard enough to discuss and debate different viewpoints and issues without fake "evidence" circulating, undermining the integrity of both of our arguments.

It is very impressive work, but I always come back to the question: What's the purpose for the graphic. (Insert almost anything to replace graphic.) Artistically, I like the sepia tones and the softer images, but if it were a concept for a house I might have built, I'd need to be able to see the lines more clearly and to see how the lines of the house fit into the lines of the landscape. Natural colors will change and the architectural colors can be chosen further down the road. I also doubt I'll ever park a pink car in my drive. But like my comments above, that's just my personal preference.

Because of Obama's inexperience in governance, I think it would be a smart move for him to announce his cabinet members, or at least the "major" ones, like Sec. of State and Defense.

I've had this before where a perfectly good looking view is subsequently rendered buggy by the addition of geometry to the model that should otherwise not cause shadow problems. Have you tried cutting a section plane in front the visible objects but behind the "camera" to essentially eliminate anything behind the camera casting a shadow on the camera.
