Have you tried Google Video hosting? http://video.google.com/ I haven't but they might not compromise your file qualities (yep, I should try it, too). It says that through the web surface you can upload videos up to 100 Mb (each) - bigger files should be uploaded by their desktop uploader. This sounds like they do not comromise your 20 something Mb files.

Good article Solo. I use dreamlinux on my old laptop, it was easy to install and cost me nothing. It installed with Blender, Gimpshop, Inkscape and a few other design apps. I've added Cycas for cad work and would have to say it's a very nice lean system. Open Office is excellent too. I've had no problems transfering files to windows or commercial programs. Yeah, that Arroway site is just really cool (I first found their link in the KT forums). And though the texture versions available for free are a bit smaller in size they can still be used for creating beautiful renders. Solo, 1984 is not even that much (from a default SU sphere we would get 1128 if I'm counting well (and if triangulated of course).
