Hi,
When trying to export my model to 2d png/jpg I get strange looking output.
See pictures below
This is the screengrab with the style I like:
This is the 2d-export (also prints like this)
Does anyone know a solution for this?
the grass material looks pretty good.
Could you share it?
Blehh... I'm Dutch but I'm ashamed of our attackers performance yesterday against Denmark.
I think they had about 20 opportunities but failed miserably. I only counted 2 or 3 Danish chances.. and they scored a good goal.
The only bright side was that Germany didnt play great either.. (although they won).
Anxious for wednesday

The model itself looks good. But I'm missing some bump- and specularmaps and work on materials to make it look more real.
I'm guessing you mean more bump on the street and walls? Where/what would you suggest for specular effect and which materials could use work?
What do you think of the viewpoint / entourage etc.?
Hi,
I've got some great car models from the warehouse but I need to apply some good vray materials to them.
I can manage the car paint but i'm having troubles with the glass. Can anyone help me with the windshield and the carlightsglass?
download link is dead. Anyone have alternative?
Hi,
I'm running in to this texturing problem.
I'm trying to give an existing car model a good windowglass material.
In the picture you can see the backwindow has nice reflection but the side window stays grey/dull.
They both have the same material but entityinfo says one is a face and the other a surface.
Anyone familiair with this?

If you do a search in 3D warehouse for iClone they have some nice street models that are modular which might be useful to you.
To be honest, these iclone models look to much like an old-gen videogame. Thanks anyway.
Hi,
I'm searching for a nice realistic road+curb+sidewalk combination for commercial renderings.
I mean something you see all the time in brochures etc.
I've been trying to doodle something myself (see attached) but I'm not happy with it.
Anyone have textures / models / materials I can use?
I'm using Vray to render so I'd like bump / displacement maps as well.
thanks in advance!
Hi everybody,
I was wondering if anyone knows what technique is behind the photo make-over on this site: http://cb.style-switcher.com/
Can this be done within an hour with SU+Photomatch+Vray? (excl. the renderingtime)
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the tip. Can I ask where I can find the grass texture (with white flowers) you PS-ed in post?
Great work Tadema.
I also loved the Broadley's publication. (yes I bought it )
The thing you don't really get into is the nice PS Post-work.
Again, in these pictures I love the hedges and grass-work.
Could you give some pointers here?
Very usefull info. Thanks.
I'm beginning to see the value of custom brushes
I use Paintshop Pro in stead of PS. Anyone know nice brushes for that?

Regardless of technical brilliance, I think David's greatest rendering asset is his power of observation.
And his PS skills.
I second that... please show us how you PS the grass!! I've been searching for ages for someone to teach me.

Very nice Edson! Where did you get that grass?
I'm curious as well... considering there was little PS involved.
HolyMoly.... such nice renders.
So much questions.. How did you make: the ripple from the flower in the pool and the wetlook on the pavement? What is "magicbullet"? Please share

I'm still curious about making this water in vray. Anyone?
