IMHO, there is zero requirement to "Load assets" full stop. Perhaps instead, just have links to load what we need at the time. It gets in the way and for me has little in the way of voracity for the render in hand. Sorry, just my ten pence worth.

A very impressive project and not disrespect intended to them but, I end up looking at this sort of project and asking myself, Why?

With Affinity being free now, the ability to improve renders easily with LUT etc is easier than ever. Being a little different from the paid version it will take a bit more thought but it's free so worth it.

Thank you. Still not getting my head around artificial lights and in particular overlapping of illumination from different light sources.
I like this render program as it is and know it will get better. It challenges my grey cell but hey, what's life without a challenge.

A bit deeper, altered the hdri image and remembered to change the setting to hdri in the environment tab. I also did away with part of a wall to open up the room properly which also reveals another window for natural light.

Good natural light makes it easier, I hope. There is a pair of directed lights on the wall above the bed which may affect the pillows and sheet. First render with the latest build and my first render for a while.

What with new roofs etc and tools/waste flying everywhere we need to be careful.

Still having concentration issues, current working diagnosis of long covid is a bit contentious with me, I think it is just biped flu.

Lots to entertain outside of rendering etc but looking into things again.
Higher def and more passes for the render 4k x 4k for the render.
Another step up from Rayscaper too with the latest build.

In a world where leaders and the news warp the mind, coming here and soothing the soul is an act of pure logic.

      @Gus-R

I get that, used to Twilight and Maxwell, before that other renders including some beta items.
Rayscaper is about in the middle for ease of use but more towards Twilight, it is MUCH faster than Maxwell and you have a very practiced user right here, not me, to give a hint or ten.
      Worth a try imho.

I just found the desired texture folders and copy pasted them from 2024 to 2026. Works fine and is basically what the Trimble folk suggested.

OK, my first response to you is probably not what you are looking for but bear with me.

ArchyBase – Free AI Rendering for SketchUp: Sketch to Render, Interior & Exterior as a headline, an attention grabber, becomes "Free to TRY".

Using the term free render and then changing it to free trial is a turn off. Personally I would not touch it with a barge board after that start.

Have a good day out there but do try harder.

I believe I know how you feel. Personally speaking, I find change these days difficult to cope with.
One of the reasons I struggle post Twilight render. I reckon age has a lot to do with this, being just the right side of 70.
However, thoughts of inadequacy etc must be resisted much like the negative impacts the average day produces. Giving up is never an answer and never will be, your renders and words of encouragement are something I am not letting go of regardless, keep on keeping on and carpe diem. It makes something and as long as that is not yeast extract and garlic flavoured custard, we are doing OK.
Sod tomorrow, TODAY is a new day, grab it firmly.

I must admit I have acquired a couple of blender books for learning V5, lots of add on's and what looks from the outside to be a deep talent. Yep, not managed it so far but this time taking it more seriously. Still going to hammer on the Sketchup nail though.
      Have you thought about Rayscaper?

These stories tend to reignite my belief in people. With all the stuff on the news it is easy to see young folk as trouble makers etc. A bit of positive affirmation does the world good. I hope both those boys can get over the trauma and move on to better things.
