@miikka1978 said: Is there a plugin that creates a construction point in the end of each line (line that is not connected to anything) in the model? I am trying to create a 3D mesh (terrain). I have created lines (with Three Line Tools Plugin) that indicates the height of the terrain in each location. Now, I would like to create a construction point in the end of each line and then use Points to Mesh Plugin to create a terrain. Look at the assembly plugin from lss2008 ... "Create 3d mesh from construction points" http://lss2008.livejournal.com/22807.html @unknownuser said: Here an intermediate option, which is ready today: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4885828/lss_toolbar_1_1.zip before unpacking (or, after) should be removed from the Plugins folder, all the old versions manually (they are now all in the folder will be 'lss_tools' and so when unpacking the surface is not written down)

Thanks for the help. I got decent results by doing the whole dome and then erasing the half of it. And, with this Extrude Edges by Rail plugin it worked just perfect.

Thanks for the tips! I have tried different formats with simple model and so far I have been able to import 3ds- and obj-formats quite ok. It seems that 3ds are at least the doubble the size when I export them from Sketchup. Now the biggest obj-file that I have been able to import to Blender has been around 10 MB. With bigger files I always get memory problems. Have you also tried to import Collada-format? In Blenderartist Forum some people have had some success with Collada. Anyway, at least I know that I can import part of my models, so maybe it is time to start learning Blender too. Anyway, I have feeling that Blender will never replace Sketchup in my workflow but for simple animations it could be something. If you still run some import test please share the results.

For my purpose/need this density function is just perfect. Thanks again GreyHead! But right now I can't think any other way to benefit from this function when using MatrixProximity script. I will be fine with this unofficial version.

Well, Miikka (this sounds so Finnish to me! ) Animating object in SU is rather cumbersome and needs some practice either with the "face camera" settings of components or "Layers". However there is an ever developing project of "Sketchty Physics" by Chris (see thread here) but to tell the truth I don't know whether it works with Kerky or not.

@valerostudio said: This is an old posting but seems to be an issue in 2017. Anyone have a solution for this? If you are experiencing 'grey bars' problem, try using these resolutions: 1020, 2040, 4080 etc... (multiplied by two) I don't know why but it works that way. Also check this plugin for a better version with additional WebGL features: WebGL Cubic Panorama

Thanks azuby. I also found a description on my Mac by going into Terminal and typing "man ln". I figured that's what they were. Todd
