And if I'm not mistaken, the sandbox tools also use dalauney algorithm to make the TIN, same with the DEM importer (possibly). I had started writing an intersting script that was aimed to work more satisfactorily than the from contours tool. Got started on it and got overwhelmed. But these scripts that create meshes are super fascinating to me. This is something I would love to tackle someday. Just don't count it anytime soon Chris

The flatten I used was a different flatten from Thom's script. I sovled the problem by editing the end points manually. I will have to try "tt-flatten" . Thanks Thom.

Thanks Chris, Sorry for coming back so late. Problem was with zip file creating extra folder with file name. Extra folder creates errors! However, still having problem with Projectsketch_loader error is showing. I have the Projectsketch_loader.rb in the Plugins folder [image: HGRs_error.jpg]

Well, if you don't want to hassle too much with them later on, you can just intersect the face they are on and delete all the holes. Should be faster than with the new components.

Thanks all for your ideas. I gave up and decided it was more trouble than it was worth to do a SU model and try to match it with the bad photo. I just added plants, grass and trees in photoshop. It seemed very difficult getting the results I wanted in the time that i needed. Photoshop was quick and was ok for what the client needed. I need to get better at photo shop;). I wonder how many other people have this problem. Some guy's seem to be luckier than others;) But this is very frustrating and I consider my self an expert in sketchup. Please save us SU 7. Sketchup doesn't play by it's own rules in this regard.

Thanks Tom, I thought about that as one way. That would require finding the center point of the curve. The method that i used was draw a line perpendicular to each mullion. Then align each bracket to this line. BTW when zooming in how can I avoid the clipping of the view that occurs? Im having a tough time getting in close to view things. I know this has been talk about quite a bit but never knew if there was a solution. I tried changing zoom factor but this did not help.

Really nice composition (maybe some more contrast in the other trees would offset the dark of the evergreens: which do set off the sign quite nicely) highlighting the subject while giving a good feel of the setting. And/but... (just playing the cranky client here :`) ...first thing I noticed about the subject matter was the daisies the size of magnolia blossoms (or is that another flower I don't know?).
