@TIG Thank you. I downloaded a free trial of VRay before seeing your reply. It does not seem too difficult, so I am giving that a shot. Pity about Twilight though... I really liked it. This project, since time is a factor, I will probably have to create in SU 22, since the SU24 exported file is not as said ad nauseum - (sorry) working with Twilight in SU 22. I will then see if I can handle VRay over the trial period. At least it's exercising my brain.

Also for the never saved files on Windows you can find them in: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2021\SketchUp\working\SKETCHUP\RecoveredFiles

Excellent image Katheryn. These high entourage models can get quite challenging. I do post stuff from time to time in the gallery. Most of it nowadays is just for fun to keep from forgetting how to do the SU and rendering stuff. Lost my old job that was the reason to learn SU several years ago. SU MAKE - 17.2 - The newer versions of Sketchup are a little pricey for us non-professionals who don't make a living from it. On the other hand, I have to pay for Photoshop and Illustrator as I do use those to earn.

I know gentlemen - it's a total mess, and which is why I was tempted to just redraw the darn thing, but sometimes taking the easy way out does not contribute to a learning experience. I will however do just that. Thank you all for your patience and help.

Glad I could brighten your day Kat! If you do any vector-based stuff be sure to check out Affinity Designer, I don't use it though. From what I hear Affinity's working on some other tools to replace some other Adobe graphics-related tools with, I think it is lightroom they have their cross-hairs on but can't tell for sure.

The first effort that I actually attached to one of my responses was done with the follow me tool, and I usually add materials by using my own samples and swatches. I work in Special Events and so more often than not have to add the actual material being used to the render not just something close. The clients can be very literal, and expect that what they see is what they get - to the t. This was a challenge for sure, and I will keep on trying time permitting with various methods until I can come up with something acceptable. The decor for every event seems to become more of a head scratcher and I am not the best SU user. I don't work exclusively in SketchUp so trying to keep up with "continuing education" in the various programmes that I use just never seems to leave enough time to focus on just one. You also need View > Hidden Geometry ON so that you can see the 'smoothed' lines and the individual facets forming the surface are shown, and thereby also made selectable separately...
