Not exactly a "newbie" but not a pro either, so best place to post a question - here. I would like to know please, why does soap bubble not seem to work with a texture? What am I doing wrong? I have been trying to get these honeycomb textures to bubble outward. No luck. Thank you in advance.

Are you just trying to get the honeycomb texture applied to the surfaces created by Soap Skin Bubble? Or are you expect the texture to appear stretched as if you were stretching a net over a curved surface?

So I think you want the texture to appear stretched over the curved surface, right? You might get a bit of that result if you set the material as Projected and apply it to the curved surface but it probably won't really look stretched. In any case Soap Skin and Bubble only creates faces of the curved surface. It doesn't do anything to textures.

If you share the SKP file with the honeycomb texture, I'll see if I can mae an example for you.

Will do - right now the boss has me working on this and waiting on some changes so will send honeycomb as soon as I am finished. Thank you
