      Hi,
Please can someone tell me why when I use the Texture > Position option I can scale height, but not width? Has to be something I am doing wrong as it makes no sense why one and not the other. Would save me a lot of time having to redo my textures over and over to get it right.

      Thank you.

Which pin are you using to change the size of the texture?

If you use the green pin the texture gets scaled in both directions. The blue pin scales in one direction if you don't move the pin off axis. If you right click on the texture again, you can untick Fixed Pins and move each pin individually to change the size.

Kathryn, Scale uniform with your green pin, I assume that's working for you. To scale the other way grab the blue pin and go to town. As long as you stay on axis ( 90 degree ) to the green pin it will scale. If you go off axis it will shear. It least that's how it works for me......

edit.... Dave R beat me to the punch and probably explained better.....

Better to learn the basics of the native method first.
