you said "Twilight ready" in the warehouse, Gaieus. what is that mean?

Hi folks.
I would try copying along the diagonal doing the Y and Z moves in one operation.
Just ideas.
and how to do that Jean?
excuse me if i am late and missed something.
i'd like to know why is the setup file size so different?
and the new one has smaller(?) setup file size.
the new M2 setup file size is (only) 36.9 MB.
the one i have here, has the size of 40.1 MB.

You know...it just occurred to me that sometimes being "rubbed the wrong way" might actually be being rubbed the right way.
Keep rubbing my friends!

i see. it looks good.
and you used Kerkythea material too for the glasses?
you changed the scooter too?
thank you, notareal.
nice reflection on the door glasses.
what did you use for that? HDRI image?
using insert feature in Kerkythea?

Yes, welcome to the internet. Heckuva first post. Also, it does one no favors to attack the poster rather than the argument, that's departing the realm of discussion and making it personal. This board is great because the discussions are most always kept to a cool headed tone. Starting out a thread singling out one user isn't cool.
I enjoy the occasional deviation from plugins, render apps and architecture. If I get irritated with someone's opinions on an OT subject, I go read another thread. Nobody is forced to read anything here, and when sensitive subjects like politics and religion are discussed, one must accept the fact that there will likely be a post that will rub you the wrong way when reading such threads.
i agree
just like what Alan Fraser said,

... Similarly, the universe doesn't require anything other than the fact that it is.
welcome to another form of universe, that doesn't require anything other than the fact that it is

It was great before, but with Quads it is absolutely great. No more tiny surface fragments to clean up (so far as I see). And way FASTER to boot
i wish i could use Quads too
i agree that this plugin is really kind of wizard thing

hi Marius,
you play Sid Meier's Pirates too!?
the forth on the above post looks so gorgeous
who'd know that a post from 2007 may still have that touch.
it's 2D eye-catching with those colours.
btw, i just visited that TomsDesk site hosted on Solo's Place.
it says that they are for sold? there are price tags on them.
if those 2D trees you shared were for sold, that means i cannot have them by downloading from your link.
could you inform me about that nickenzyme?

hi there notareal,
since you are also within Kerkythea (i assume), do you mind if i ask you about the next Kerkythea? i haven't heard much about the next Boost after the Echo release.
thank you.

When it comes to Facebook I'm the wrong guy to ask. I deleted my account last month as it served no purpose.
Strictly G+ here.
But thanks for sharing this with your friends
Google+?
i can see what you mean probably.
since i haven't been that active in that fb networks either for about Β±3 weeks.
it was a good one once a while though, a little better than Linkedin.
great works your friend has done there.
i think, if there is any chance he/she would join this forum and show us how did he/she make those trees, that would be a great thing.
thank you again nickenzyme

I had the same issue when I started using SU, now I just cut the holes then make the windows/doors to fit. It saves a lot of grief
well, yes. i agree.
Gaieus once told me to "always learn to walk before you run"
so, the first thing came up in my mind was trying to get the conventional way using native tools available in SketchUp.
after the component was made with the right setting of axes and gluing, i put the component on the wall. and when it did work just fine i draw rectangle (in this case is a window).
then i push pull the area bound to the rectangle on the wall surface. push-pull it through the other side of the wall. voila, a perfect shaped wall through for the window.
actually, that is what i've been doing since SU 6 though
thank you nickenzyme
btw are those trees were made by yourself?
nice set of 2d face me trees. nice colour and gradation too.
hi Rich,
i shared it on my wall on facebook.
with the java script provided by facebook, share on facebook.
javascript:var d=document,f='http://www.facebook.com/share',l=d.location,e=encodeURIComponent,p='.php?src=bm&v=4&i=1251646389&u='+e(l.href)+'&t='+e(d.title);1;try{if (!/^(.*\.)?facebook\.[^.]*$/.test(l.host))throw(0);share_internal_bookmarklet(p)}catch(z) {a=function() {if (!window.open(f+'r'+p,'sharer','toolbar=0,status=0,resizable=1,width=626,height=436'))l.href=f+p};if (/Firefox/.test(navigator.userAgent))setTimeout(a,0);else{a()}}void(0)

i've opened the SketchUcation page on facebook. but, the CatchUp 6 haven't been posted there yet. tested the CatchUp 5 to share it, yet it wont show the thumbnail.
that one was shared with the flipping page link and the java script above.
[edit] direct download link will work with the "old fashion" copy and paste way right onto the status update box.
the thumbnail wont showed up with the link given though.
i'll try to find another way.
thank you Gaieus.
the flipping one works fine if it shared (fb) with "share on facebook" feature.
thank you Gaieus
for time being, i am using push-pull on a rectangle (bound to the window size) to cut the wall.
