Hello, I might be a year or so late, but just was browsing around in posts, and ended up at your post. In case you are still interrested in different ways to draw a hull, I attached my way of drawing. It is certainly not the best way, but it's A way. Using the original linesplan of a ship. Each line at different levels have a x,y coordinate, which put together gives the lines of the hull. All these lines stacked on top of each other give then the complete linesplan, which you can then close on the outside to create your hull. Basically the system works as how Delfship uses their program, but there I always turned up to set the coordinates wrong, which resulted in very strange shapes suddenly. Hope this helps, enjoy

I forgot where exactly did i got the resources for the column material. Posted in the KT forum either by tridem or massimo, don't remember which one. Provided to offer a help to a KT user asking about stone material. No further info afterward. Just trying to make use the good looking mat, although I'm a total newb on that matter. As I said earlier, I'll share it if it worth it. No reply on validating the mat in the forum yet. They probably very busy with all of those render apps development including KT Boost development. How about if you "wrap" them (the entire model) into a single component before uploading? Doesn't that return that very component when downloading, without answering questions like "..download...in current model? Y/N" ?

before i forgot, i'd like to post and note these links provided by Dave R. about Axis and Gluing mostly, at least for my own note. or, if by any chance someone else got this post by accident. Component Insertion Exchanging Components (i might find it easier to search in my own post later. Cut Opening on the other hand would probably just a matter of clicking on the checkbox)

@alan fraser said: Find the Round Corners ruby script by Fredo. It gives you 3 options...round corners, sharp corners and bevel edges. Select the top of the tent, plus the four corners that hang down and choose the round corners option. You'll see a dialog appear at the top of the drawing window...and also the same parameters in the VCB (Measurements box)...the spread of the curve followed by the number of segments, separated by a comma. Retype your own parameters...these would be something like 1" or 2cm and 3 segments. Press Enter, see if the preview lines look ok on your model then use the tick on the end of the cursor to accept them. thank you. yes, i did download it yesterday and applied it to the second tent. perhaps i just made it too round. since the edges where the tent cover falls down look to smooth as if it is a pyramid.
