RE: Figured Mahogany
Found it on the web and its pine. I'm not sure I have the "make your on material" thing right tho. Where talking about adjusting the size here Dave or doing something different? If this is right do you save each material like this to be used in other models?

RE: Figured Mahogany
Nice Dave, just one thing how do you find images of wood that nice without having to stretch it to much to match the length of piece in your drawing and do you use a different image for each piece in the drawing? I know that was two things sorry.
Thanks Kurt

Small dinning table
I bought this small dinning table the other day to make it into a computer desk. Decided to draw it just as it is, same kinda screws and everything but the texture is off some what. I hate wood texture, it's so hard for me to work with and not have all the boards looking the same. Either that or it takes me like three years to get all the texture looking half way right. With all that said this forum has done nothing but inspired and help me to learn a lot!
Thanks Kurt

RE: My first couple of real layout drawings
Thanks all and no Dave I didn't know you could hold the shift down to resize proportionally. That will come in handy but far as the views I just place where I thought needed. I didn't follow any protocol. Will add all the suggestions to my next couple I do.

I tried it Tig and maybe its over my head but I could get it to work!I probably didn't do something right but I couldn't get the outer edge to intersect with the main housing at all.

RE: Limbert-Style Tables
Nice but I was wondering do you draw what you design in these line styles or add them later?
