It is possible or not, it is better to keep everything clear. it is a "bad" habit of autocad users who expect everything be like autocad.. I.e. spacebar in 3Dsmax will be a nightmare for a noob, (it will lock the last selection) and it is "pan" in PhotoShop..... better to use competition car for competing and personal car for ordinary jobs not like a tracktor.

You can create a custom channel in the VFB. For example, if you want a channel of a 2-sided curtain material for post processing. You can use this feature with lights also, so you can get the result of a single or multiple lights for post work.

Well, he can't have it ! 😉
Toolbar states are not shortcut-able.
He could write a script to toggle the toolbar on/off and then shortcut to that script's entry in a menu...
But he needs to find the toolbar to do that...
There are a few better methods for v2014, but it's still not easy...

ThruPaint is magic! Definitely the way to go if you can get what you need that way.

Not sure what you mean by this. If you click remember camera position in scene manager then yes you will change camera placement with scene.
