optical illusion, good work!

Well, then, you're saying the joint in the video isn't such a great joint after all?
I don't agree with you at all on that. I can think of plenty of joints that don't have angled cuts that are more than strong enough.
Dave you are a woodworker; try to do the two versions, do a load test and report.
@slbaumgartner said:
Yes, please explain why it needs a minimum angle…
If there is no angle the joint lose strength

To work properly this need a minimum angle.

mmmh....it could be that I am missing something pretty fundamental...but:
- When I try and use Slicer it tells me thats its not a Manifold Solid and I can go no further.
- If I try and use Zorro, no matter what I try, I can't seem to get the "slicing plane" to run vertically. It always insists on cutting through at an angle.
The first 2 images below shows the before and after that I am looking for (exactly what a section plane would do - but with real impact on the geometry). If it could cut and delete that would be even better!
The third image shows Zorro - after choosing a cut line exactly on the Red Axis! H-E-L-P!

For Zorro you must first insert a section, then right clicking the selected section the submenu propose slice model at section.
After this delete the section plane.
Note: make this inside group or component or it will slice the entire model.
Hope this is what you're looking for.

Police Commissioner Involved in Charlie Hebdo Investigation “Commits Suicide”. Total News Blackout
...
There has been a total news blackout.
The French media decided or was instructed not to cover the incident. Not news worthy? So much for “Je suis Charlie” and ”Freedom of Expression” in journalism.
Likewise, the Western media including all major news services (AP, AFP, Reuters, Deutsche Welle, etc) have not covered the issue.![]()

I think you could open a new thread, you could call it "the wailing wall".
Have a good day.
Zorro 2 have a submenu: slice at section.

I think that the arrow keys action to lock the inference engine is built-in, not handled by a shortcut, since it is neither a menu item nor a Tool. Therefore, I think Pixero is right - if you delete your own shortcut assignment, the inference locking behavior should return.
That simple, this works.
Thank you all.

[To see ALL of your shortcuts... download and install the RBZ for the SketcUcation PluginStore toolset - then use its 'My Shortcuts...' submenu option... Its dialog shows the key-combos and each Command involved…]
I got this / see image /, nothing clickable; is this SU8 compatible?

On a MAC you can manually edit the ShortCuts.plist
The finder did not find that file.
May I be a dummy?
Thank you TIG.
And happy new year.
Edit : forgot to upload this:

Well I stupidly assign arrow key to some action and now would like re-assign arrow key to axis inference.
But I can't find inference in short key panel.
Any idea?
Last news; it seems that Charlie's killers have been shot down by GIGN forces (french SWAT) during a hostage-taking.
No trial, no truth. Tabula rasa.
Who they are riding for is not on purpose, they just are fascist killing people who does not think like them.
