Yes the single Add icon works but you can't toggle the format.
I have the same issue with batch icon:
(I select a folder with only one file)
loading….. but no crash.
Also trying toggle square window gives this message in the console:

Je pensais qu'il s'agissait d'images, le plugin fonctionne sur du .png avec transparence.
A partir du composant aller dans matière, clic droit / modifier / modifier la texture dans éditeur externe, en faire un png avec transparence importer comme image dans SU et appliquer image trimmer.
Don't know how you did this but your model is full of bad geometries, a basic profile push-pull should provide good geometries.
Round corner will go crazy trying to round this.
Redraw from scratch.

It does not work.
inside jcb_Add_Icon.rb I read: add_icons_on_mac.version = '1.0.1'
The symlink is there but no change, error when loading.
Pm me any version you want to test with SU8.
