you may try if disabling the Windows desktop composition does have any effect:

"Right Click on SU > Properties > Compatibility tab > Settings > Disable desktop composition"

HA! I got it, with the help of a local math genius.

Check out the solution attached. Just open the Dynamic Components option and switch the hinging from left to right and use the interact tool on the door.

Not sure why I never tried this plugin because it looks excellent.

You may have to construct some Scenes that will set the camera square on to the orientations you desire. And, I thought that there was at least one camera control plugin that could do this? I assume that Parallel Projection could be applied to each scene?

I rolled back to a driver that was a lot older (written before Win 7 came out) and it works fine now.... Very strange..

Whats cool is that you can download the light into your model, and then in the component info box, there is a link to the IES profile, which you can download as well, and then plug into your favorite render software!

As far as sub components, it would be any sub components that reference the axis of the most top level component. And sub component that references an axis from another sub component that is below the top level wouldn't need to be changed.

I am planning on getting as many pictures as I can, so I'd be happy to share them on whatever sociaal media would make the most sense...

I am not defining the paths, I don't think.

In other words, when I tell Sketchup where to look for the icons, I am simply stating the filenames, as the icons reside in the plugins folder of Sketchup, which is where the plugin is as well. Do I need to define full paths to the icons?

I think you need to be a LinkedIn member to see that discussion, and possibly even a member of that group withing LinkedIn.

Moral of the story is, if there are any residential designers out there that would like to participate in the contest, I can give you more details, and put you in touch with the right people. Its a great contest, the show is nice, and the awards ceremony is great as well!

Guys, I a not a Mac user so I do not know how (simple?) it is on the Mac but on my Windows I could fix it in about 7 seconds by changing the file type association. There MUST be something like this on the Mac, too!
