the second one is very well done, the grass looks awesome too. In the first one, the grass on the foreground should be Photoshopped a bit, but the rest looks very very good Nice work!

Yea - DPI has no meaning without being accompanied by a width and height. (I I'm still amazed by advertising companies that makes the ads for out projects - asking me to send an image in 300dpi - without ever telling me the actual dimensions.)

I like the overall presentation, although i think the sky could do with being desaturated a bit, to match the grass and focus the eye on the building a bit more.

Baking is a generic term used whenever you save out some data on a model. In graphics, Baking can mean Lightmaps (like LightUp uses) or it can mean saving lighting to vertex colors (as you can do in Maya), or saving out skinned weights for an animation. The general gist, is taking some 'ingredients' (aka parameters) and 'baking' (aka applying some process) that saves just the end result eg LightMaps, Vertex colors etc. Adam

@thomthom said: @edmon242004 said: Yes Vray fur, but there is no fur in Vray SU,, come to think of it why is it not included in this version of Vray? Could be quit useful.. It wasn't supported in the VRay SDK when ASGVis made the current version. Now everything is availible in the SDK, I think. VfSU2 might feature fur. Might. @nomeradona said: one of the gfreat concern is the amount of polygons involve. and we know SU has difficultry in handling huge poly. Doesn't most 3D app with fur support only represent fur with a few low poly proxies? SU might not even need to generate geometry - just have a tool you enable to see and broom the fur. yeap if vray proxy will be supported then vray fur will come handy. O.T> Is there any chance of you working with damien to develop his fur with Vray SU sice you know the language of Ruby and Damien has no desire to learn it.

The cars need something to them. I would try adding some reflections, because they stand out to differently. And I know you are probably only working with a single palm image that you have for photoshop but I would search around and find a good palm model to maybe add in the scene...I know there has been some posted on here and in the warehouse. With that said, the building and everything else really looks great. I really like the background image and how it works with the building.

Hello thank you for the suggestions, the grass actually has a bump map on it but it doesn't seem to work, I used Vray for rendering, after knowing Vray for SU I dropped max and start to use SU+Vray.. I will adjust the composition since this is still a W.I.P., and by the way Mac could you explain this anti aliasing filter a bit so I could apply it? I hav here another angle but the glass destn't have reflections yet I am stil; searching for a nice looking reflection image if you guys can recommend one to me please do.[image: Xkmj_COMMERCIAL1Bcopy.png]

I already covered this for 3D trees in V-Ray last week. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=20102 It's the same for cut-outs.

Here is an example (made with RP Tree Maker suggested by Chris above). Load it directly into your SU application (if you browse the warehouse from SketchUp) otherwise if you download it as a file and import it like that, you have to explode the outer shell first. I hope it's not a too complicated description - if you have problems with it, I can rephrase.

That grass s not only the texture itself but a component already bearing the texture. You should use the component itself to populate your model with its multiple instances. You'd better put it on a separate layer however and turn that layer off while you're modelling (and only turn it on when exporting an image or animation) otherwise your video card may die.

Like this [image: maTZ_duke07Apr.2704.16.jpg] Trick or skill: Alot of plug-in can be done in sketchup with some insight. Also you can unlock the axes of the move tool with the arrow keys too.
