it is a bug. If you copy geometry in SU without vray running, it seems to work. You can use thomthom's vray toys to turn off vray from loading.

wow, fantastic renders, some insight on how you created these would be great (like how you modeled/textured and any post processing involved) I'd love to see a, just sketchup image, to see the transformation. My only critique is I would have picked a different image for the tv, just having the tv off would work. I think it draws too much attention to it and its not something everyone is into (I know that might sound crazy because Harry Potter is very popular). Great work

It's due to a bug in the latest VfSU build. The beta builds has fixed many things since .89. But do submit the model to ASGVis so they can test the model against their internal build so they can ensure they have corrected the error that caused it. When SU/VfSU runs out of memory it crashes.

Hi Thom & Kalf, I just found something curious about the vray settings (don't know if it's only in my case) I just change the override viewport and get view aspect in the output menu and my renders was lessen to almost twice the render time and with the same settings that took me 6 hours same scene and same output size, here is the screen shot, don't know why[image: 5g0Q_2010-03-27_08-01_V-RayforSketchUp-Render.jpg]

hi tf, the lot size for this house is 10m. x12m.and the total floor area is 100 sq.m., well actually really not "too small". speaker thanks for the suggestion I'll take note of that.

Because PipeAlongPath effectively uses FollowMe it is fettered by that method's limitations. Didier Bur made a 'line to tube' tool [ http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/EM/line2cyl.rb ] that will add a cylinder to every selected edge irrespective of their branching etc BUT it doesn't tidy the ends up...

Thanks, nice model A small point, the file size is pretty large, particularly if you intend using plenty of these in your model! You could have drastically reduced the file size by making a component out of an individual leaf, then stretching/scaling copies to make the diferent variations required, similarly with the branches. On like models I have seen the file size reduced by 90% or more.
