Really great job on texturing and final renders. I have noticed that it's pretty sunny outside so why do you use your interiors lights (IES, skylights and others)? What happened to the Earth Hour ? This is not an eco-friendly render (jk)
I would like to see a night renders with the lights on, should look spectacular, I'm waiting
Great job my friend.
cheers

RE: Concept kitchen - big island and tea pot
Hi Hussel, a cleaning lady (she's really good at what she does) just swept the floor that's why you can not find any dust
You are correct, for the final I will add some fencing and some detail to the island.
Yes, the house is in the middle of nowhere, the area is under a development.
Thanks for your CC. -
RE: Concept kitchen - big island and tea pot
Hi Joaocharrua, you are totally right. I'm still learning vray. How do I add some grain to the wall to simulate some light absorption? Or on the other hand, how can I get rid off the grain in my renderings?
Yes, the teapot is pretty big. I'm testing the strength of the kitchen rack jk. (I did it on purpose)

Concept kitchen - big island and tea pot
Found some image in a magazine and decided to model and render. The kitchen rack and the floor is my original concept. SU 7 + Vray only, no photoshop or any other pp work. There is no interior lights at all.
Looking for some CC.

Amazing plugin Mr. Fredo! Thank you so much for all your plugins and hard work. Can't call you a G.O.D. but you are sitting right next to him

RE: Recreation areas and water park of a development
We all know that SU is not the "greatest" tool for animation, but I have to say that you have done really good job. Camera seams a bit jumpy in few spots. Overall, the client should be able to get what he asked for.
What other software did you use to do this animation? -

No intention to criticise but, how are you going to fit three bedrooms and a bathroom on a second floor in what looks like a single level apartment/bungalow?
No worries, you are not the first person to say that. I know it looks small, but looks might be deceiving sometimes. Attaching an image of the second floor for comparison.

Making the plant components is easy once the transparent .png is made. Just look up how to make "faceme" components. Making the .png image is a little trickier but it is still pretty easy if you start with the right photo. Luckily I do 3D work for a company which has a full scale plant nursery and tree farm. The main difficulty is just removing the background from the plant photograph. To make this easier I use a painters dropcloth behind the plant when I photograph and then use photoshop to remove the white pixels. If I have time, I'll try to make a quick tutorial in the near future.
Glad you found my plant pack useful. I'll see if I can't put another pack together with a few of my newer plants as well.
Thanks for the tips. I looked at the "faceme" components and it does not look all that difficult. I will not have a problem with photoshop and removing the white pixels, the problem will be getting the flowers, hedges and trees photographed. If you would like I can help you out with removing some of those white pixels for your second plant pack.

RE: Evening shot
Nice job on those renders as always. The vegetation is outstanding, what about the cars, are they cut outs too? By the way, I really enjoy your great tutorials.

RE: House - to be build (rendering for a client)
Nice job on that render EarthMover. With my first two renders I did just like you said; drastic change in one or two adjustments (point taken).
EarthMover: how do you make your trees, plants and flowers for use in SU? I dl your zip file and that's what I've used, but I would like to make my own vegetation in near future. What's the process? If you have time to spare, it would be nice to see a tutorial from a pro like you.
Thanks for all your advise. -
RE: House - to be build (rendering for a client)
Peter, John
I used vray+photoshop. I work off my laptop, so the colours are not all there (I miss my rig and viewsonics).
I have to thank to Oli and Earthmover for theirs trees, plants and flowers.
The fence has a white shinny paint material but no texture (could it be too white and shinny?)
You guys are right, I like the soft look of Peter's render.
Thank you for your advise.
cheersattaching a new render with some changes as per P&J

Can you say MASSIVE!!! Awesome modeling skills. Looks too clean for 1700's IMO. Would love to see some dirt

RE: Help with 'blotchy' mirror
Well, in that case I suggest to create your own reflective material and see if that works (it should).
And like you say, you have to different settings (not seeing the difference between those two), can't say much. See the differences in option vray in "preview" and "production".
When you download settings from elsewhere they do not always look the same in your model as they would in theirs (creator). -
RE: Help with 'blotchy' mirror
Erase the mirror, copy and paste an existing one (I can see you have other ones in your scene). See if it works.

RE: Interior
Nice renders, good light, agree with srx in regards to camera angles. Work on your quality, I can see blemishes
Is there a reason for a "water mark" text in each image? -
RE: Innox_Livingroom_wip
Very nice render. Good lighting overall.
Is that man standing outside in a snow?
