Yes. Coping a molding profile like that is faster with Solid tools. If I had a lot of molding to cope, I would probably do it once, convert the coped molding to a component and then use that one piece of molding for any other pieces that need coping using Make Unique and resizing as needed with Move.

I have run into a few cases where Solid tools "breaks" a solid component/group and leaves it unsolid. I reported it and it was confirmed as a bug so hopefully a fix is on the way. I'll cross my fingers that they add the option to leave things as components, though.

But I thing I did not made myself very clear on that, It was the dimensions lines from Skechup that are always the same as the model itself.

But I discovered that by changing yje profile value in SU does solve my problem

les modérateurs globaux échappent à leurs propres règles si je comprends bien ?
Peu m'importe qu'ils soient modérateurs, c'est vraiment bien la dernière chose qui va me poser un problème.

Le pb des modérateurs " globaux " c'est qu'ils ne parlent pas français, plains toi, mets un abuse au modérateur du forum, qui t'en empêche ?

Voici ce que j'ai fait, mais l'idée générale est la même.
Mais Jean a certainement moins de nettoyage à faire que moi après l'intersection. J'ai aussi agrandi x100 avant d'intersecter.

N'importe quoi... Un objet appartient à un seul calque, si le calque est visible on voit l'objet, s'il est invisible on ne le voit pas, c'est aussi simple que ça. Donc vous avez le bon nombre de neurones 🤣

Hi folks.

Dont forget that one of SU strength is the possibility of orbiting, zooming, panning, changing scene while in the middle of an operation like drawing, scaling, moving, rotating, etc.

Try the following:

1 - With the standard Iso view, start a rectangle
by clicking to set the first corner.
The rectangle will have a tendency to be drawn
on the horizontal plane (red-green axis).

2 - While still in the drawing process, orbit so
the red-blue plane is mostly facing you.

3 - Complete the rectangle. You will see that it
is now drawn on the vertical red-blue plane.

Just ideas.
