I have some object with his location, and select it and i want just to move this object to zaxis=0, and leave other axis unchanged.

I am totaly beginner in Sketchup scripting.

This code move object to some position,

trans = Geom::Transformation.new(bb.center.vector_to([100,0,0])) ; # move the temp bounding box
How is posible to move object just by zaxis and other axis dont affect.

How to generate with function RANDBETWEEN(bottom,top) 3 different numbers at once?

I need tree number for RGB color in Material attribute, but if I use tri randbeetwen function all thre give same numbers.

Why DC custom attribute when I put function =RANDBETWEEN(111,223),RANDBETWEEN(111,223),RANDBETWEEN(111,223)
give error?

I have made a few tests with simple cube and with evry new iteration skp file become larger what is normal. I dont remember noe exact sizes, i just want share with you idea but problem to implement this is Sketchup API as you say. And without this function plugin is the best of its kind on the market.

First of all i want to say that you plugin SUdB is fantastic. Simple and powerfull like Sketchup.And now one question:

Is possible in some of next version of your plugin make this feature.

For example you have simple cube in skp file and it has about 50 kb size, than when i i make 3 times itteration, cube is sphere now and has lots of polygons and bigger size.

How to make that sketchup save cube as cube and seperate data about how many iterations are made on cube.

No! When i delete this verticle on face one polygons face disapear.

When i select all faces and aplay material to all the problem still exist, but when i paint just one face and open file in 3d max, this painted face have no problems with triangulation but stil there is one line on face as you can see on second image

SketchUp very cleverly abstracts away the underlying geometry by rendering all connected faces on the same plane as one surface (unless you tell it not to). With this visual abstraction SketchUp allows surfaces to have gaps.

This describe my problem but I dont know how texruring this face in Sketchup change triangulation in 3d max???

I save skp file and open it in 3d max. Also try with exporter dae and 3ds but the same problem appear.

I really dont know why this happen.

1. I save model without textures in SKetchup 2015 file and open it with 3D max, and most of my face are triangulated

2.Do the same thing but add texture to all faces at once, and the problem still exist.

3.When i add texture to each face seperatly the this problem disapear.

How can texturing in sketchup affect geometry in 3d max? And how can a solve this problem cause when i have complex model i cant texture face by face seperatly.

This feature dont exist in sketchup and i dont find any plugin for it, a also i didnt know is possible to make this feature with ruby api possibilities.

I describe what i want in one example.

I have door made with multiple components, if I want chage width of door i must select side part of each component and move it.

With this new feature i want select side parts of multiple components at once without entering into each component.

This ferature can be done with using right mouse click pressed down and than select parts in multiple component or group.

I hope you will understand me.

I have an idea and i need help.

I want to have a plugin connected with webpage that contains vray materials. Idea is that you can visit page directly from sketchup and drag and drop material into your scene model.

My knowledge to make ruby plugin is not enough, but i can make webpage with materials and host it.

How dificult is make this plugin a how can you help me about it.

I really dont know where to ask this question than i ask here.

Does vrayforsu 1.6 beta has some limitation or what cause i cant get more prepass in IRRADIANCE MAP than just one.
