Turn off Default Lights in the Globals.
It worked, I don;t have shadows from sun.
But I have too much light in the drawing and I don't know where it comes from.

%(#4080FF)[Hi Guys,
I need to stretch whole to match the bowl. I use Fredo Scale. I did it before and it worked, now only length of worktop changes, not the lenght of whole, do anyone know why ?

Go to the top of the list of layers click on the top layer, hold shift, go all the way down and click on the last layer then click 'Visible' to turn them off, then turn on the layer you want.
Perhaps there is a plugin that can do this, but honestly this is pretty easy.
Rob
Thanx Rob =)
%(#4080FF)[Hi Guys,
See pictures attached. In Environment settings I unmarked bouth GI (Skylight)but I still get sunlight shadows in render. Why ?]

%(#4080FF)[Hi guys
I didn't have this problem before. I use Output 3840x2160 so I think all lines should be smooth. hey are not , are wobbling. See jpg. attached. Do anyone have an idea why ?]
Ht there, I still cannot figure out the way how to have nice new created Component preview in Components folder.
I attache present preview of Component and printscreen how I would like the preview to look like.
%(#8080FF)[I was told to delete all advanced cameras I created. I did it and the problem is being solved
I was adviced to create advanced cameras only when I finish work on the project in SketchUp so to make render in v-ray.
Thanx everyone for help! =)]

I think this is the same clipping error several of us have mentioned in another thread that happens periodically in 2015. I have had it happen a couple of times in the last few days.
How did ypou get rid of it ntxdave ?

I'm experiencing constant random crashes with SU Pro2015. doesn't seem to matter hat Open GL settings I have set. Weirdly SU often 'disappears' (crashes) while I'm working in Layout too.
Running Win 8.1 on i7 intel graphics.
Any ideas welcome.

Hi there
I am experiencing that as well few times a day. It started about week ago. I didn't change the system or anything similar.
I will observe it and write more.

That looks like image plane clipping. See this help page for a discussion of how to deal with it:
Thanx for the answer but nothing of these helped. Unfortunatelly I had to came back to earlier stage of the project to continue working.
Still am looking for solution.
I think I found the reason :
I made Component out of Rectangle light so to be able to copy it. When component light is copied it is possible to change settings of all copied components in the same time, not each light separately. I thought changing the light into component might be the reason of grainy light. I checked it: made new rectangular light and then changed it into Component. Before the change it worked perfectly smooth, after it become grainy.
What scares me is that when I have 50 lights in sloping ceiling and I want to change the power of them I have to change setting of each light separately.
After 1 hour of further working on the project I found that strange: I made rectangular light under cupboard, created Component out of it and duplicated it. The light was not grainy ( the picture below ). I don't understand.

The subdivisions are a square, so essentially if you have 8 subdivisions you're multiplying 8x8 and throwing 64 samples. By putting in 500 or 1200 subdivisions in your value your just throwing samples on top of each other. Id suggest putting it in as 32 subdivisions and see what your results are.
On new picture attached subdivision 8 I marked with red colour, subdivision 32 I marked with blue. It looks like there is almost no difference in between them, grainy light stays. May the solution lay somewere else ? |What is also strange that there is no grainy light lying on the worktop.
%(#0080FF)[Hi there SketchUp lovers
Plesase see the picture attached. Every time I had that glitch I used Shift+Z the view changed to Paralel Projection, then |I changed it to Perspective and everything worked properly.
Now I work on more complicated drawing. It doesn't work. When I come back to Perspective the glitch come back. It intensifies even much more when I turn on sun shadows and try to move them. That is visible on drawing attached. Please help ]
%(#0080FF)[Hi there
The big spotight I placed on the celing gives grainy light. The increase of Sampling-Photos Subdivis of that spotlight from 500 to even 1200 didn't change it not even slightly. Could you please advice what to do ?]
%(#0080FF)[Hi there,
I cannot switch the daylight on V-RAY render whereas I have it visible on SU drawing.
What can be the reason ?
I attache printscreen of SU with sunlight, V-ray render comes completly black page out of it.]
I may need to let you know that all the additional lights ( about 20 rectangular lights, one omni light, about 30 spotlights ) are on separate layer which is turned off for now.
%(#0080FF)[Hi there!
Thank you all for answering my previous questions, I am glad to get a feedback so quickly!
Could you plese advice how to clean statistics in SU file to make it weight less ?]

Works alright for me from the outset.
Here's my version [v8] which previews properly AND inserts correctly...
It is not the best set up SKP.
%(#0040FF)[Thanx Tiger
Could you advice any tutorial that shows how to set up similarly complicated Component in a proper way ?]

Place an instance.
Select it.
Use the Context-Menu to 'Change Axes'.
Set the red/green axes so the blue axis is in the right direction.
Now place another instance.
It should be the right way round.
Do a save_as on the component...
Overwrite the external SKP that is currently wrongly oriented, with this fixed one.
The blue axis is up so correct. I attache the skp. Component. Still cannot figure it out
