There are several threads about this issue on the official Trimble forum. Seems like you have to temporary disable your WindowsDefender to 'fix' this. Some strange technical thingie I can't reproduce. https://forums.sketchup.com/t/unable-to-update-sketchup-2023-due-to-a-md5-checksum-issue/223665

Nice, D5 Pro is $38 per month and the prize is $19 worth. They need to raise the bar to get any serious entries I'd say. Nothing entices me to try it out let alone write a review?

It's called "Tools on surface" and it's part of the Fredo bundle. I strongly reccomend to buy the bundle because every single plugin in that collection is absolutely a banger. (Pay attention to the fact that you also need the free libfredo6 shared library to make those plugins work). http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=76625#p76625 Yep. I also paid for the package and they are solid workman's tools I could not do without and saved me a lot of time and extra effort.

Well, I had to laugh, either that or go slightly madder. Just a little reminder that taking things back to basics is a good plan to be implementing when troubleshopoting.

Hhmmm, I just noticed this laptop I'm getting today https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2YBB56J?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image has win 11 on it. Is there going to be a big diff from win 10 which I've had for awhile? anyone have a good link so I can explore this difference more?

There isn't a specific forum for web versions, so ask what you need and people will answer.

I sent that ipad back and got a good laptop! after trying out 10+ pdf readers, npne of which created pdf with clickable links, I found out I can Save from a word doc, as a pdf, with clickable inks!

I'd be happy with an included (not plugin) fillet and chamfer tool. Yes, I have the plugins and I also know about the arc trick.

@boofredlay said: I use mine daily with SketchUp and Revit. It takes less effort than scrolling. Thank you, I agree it flys straight through "Walls" without an issue unlike native SU I will use it just based upon that. I find scrolling through SU Su walls infuriating, and a source of RSI on the mouse wheel finger
