Yeah - we are in the process of tweaking the Board Index and we haven't made an announcement yet for we are not ready. Please, be patient (I know you figured out but everybody). We will explain all changes and hope you'll like them because they give more flexibility and possibility for you to customize your board index as well as use new features. I know that every change is a bit conhfusing at the first but this time we really wanted to do it as logical as it is possible from Coen and me

I am studying Architectural Technology. I am fortunate that with this course SHU is seen as the UK's leading provider for Arch Tech. I have no idea how the Uni performs in other fields or courses. I guess all Uni's have their strong and weak courses/lectures.

Catia is the CAD program that Frank Gehry's firm uses. I had no idea it could do the stuff Paul mentioned. Wow.

My friend is mainly interested in using SU to work out a few things in 3D and told me he won't model the entire robot. But he may get pretty close and I may offer to finish it off. The current project is a 25' arm with hand that is controled by a user putting their own hand into a contraption. When the user moves their hand the robot hand mirrors the movement. It will be able to lift a car off the ground and crush it! It is just going to be too much fun.

They are - there are 16 bot that have ever visited and the major ones - including Google - regularly visit (7 of them have already visited today although it is quite early in the morning). Now as we have RSS feed as well, Google Feedchecker is also a "regular".

And also I cannot change this, sorry. Though probably wouldn't even like to - PMs are private anyway so I don't think there's a problem with a sort of read receipt.

Many years ago, my first job out of college was working for a shipyard. At the time we had a ship under construction with a 12 cylinder Sulzer diesel engine about the size of the one in the picture. The block was so big that there was a full sized door in the side for entry and there were walkways...inside the engine. It was 167 feet long. I remember inspecting the exhaust manifold expansion joints. From inside the exhaust manifold. I could stand up fully erect inside the exhaust manifold. Each of the 12 cylinders had a bore of something on the order of 1 meter (it's been 25 years I don't remember the specifics). The rotation speed of the engine was such that it didn't require a gearbox and was directly coupled to the 40 foot diameter propeller. It rotated about 50 rpm if memory serves me correct. To go backwards the engine was turned off, the cam gear shifted and the engine was started in the opposite direction. I didn't realize these things were still made. chris

@unknownuser said: No, that's not a very efficient way of doing things at all. Get process explorer, it's a replacement for task manager with Way more functionality. The easiest way to spot spikes in cpu usage is to turn on the cpu history column in process explorer. Nice!
