Hi Guys I found this image of a door that wish to model and render. Apart from being so sexy it is interesting that it seems to be where Art Nouveau, art Deco and arts an crafts collide. I am not expect it to be easy as I am considering doing it with geometry apart from the ceramic brick. If anybody has any advice please well out.[image: 1738386671589-door.png] Wish me luck

Thanks tuna! I saw your suggestion and the meme going around that George Jetson was born this last weekend, saw an easy project and I was off to the races!

I think I’m going to quit chasing the rabbit now. Added dust to the more dramatic image. Think I’ll stop now [image: CubH_abandoned_1.3_dust3copy.jpg]

I do agree but, not every image has going to be perfect and as a hobby renderer it is important not to beat yourself up too hard. Sometimes it just does not happen and you can be happy with that. If you are being paid that is something else.

@mike amos said: Definitely photo quality, marvelous, really. So kind of you to say that Mike. It is a long journy, and persistance is paying off. I am quite happy with it, at least until my next failure Arch Yis is definately an art and I think at this stage it is the start of another phase of learning

Thanks Mike. Funny you mention “Latchmere Gardens” I’ve heard the name before, just don’t know where. Read it somewhere or maybe on the t.v. These style of homes were common when my family moved to South Florida in the 60’s. Cement block construction, low pitch and flat roofs. Don’t stick your house up in the air for the hurricane to push against.

This is WIP but as it now working I can show it off, there's a fair bit to do to the interface to make it pretty but its ok for now: ** Link removed as the project is now live and we don’t want odd emails going to the client ** 3DVista has what they call Virtual Staging which enables you to place additional images as overlays. I've used it to enable the future homeowners to choose their floor/carpets etc. You can switch rooms using the menu in the bottom left and then select the element you wish to change. The model has a crap load of tags and scenes as I need to knock out 49 panos which I then mask off to just the reqd overlay (eg 6x stair carpets) in Affinity Photo/Designer. This will be one of 3 houses for this development so a total of 147 panos will eventually be rendered .... along with what I'd guess to be another 50% again due to amendments.
