While I like both of the renders, the black and white one catches my attention. It seems to match the house style. It reminds me of photos from years in the past. 👍 👍 👍

Good design and both great renders, but yes, the second render perfectly captures the era and is stunningly realistic. 👍

Thanks gentlemen. Prefer the B&W image myself. I think I’m going to take the color image back into post pro for some tweaking. The more I look at it seems the blue tones are a little too strong. Might just be my old ass eyes…. not sure. 👍

Nice work Tuna 👍 👍 I think your HDRI is showing though 😉 I would suggest you place some bushes to hide this.

L i am , thanks your comments are noted. For the record the background is a spherical.jpg image. Understand your point but the blending I did in post is keeping with the content of the image. Have in the past tried “hiding” the transition but generally in my experience the results usually don’t suite me.

love this kind of houses - as these so beautifully correspond to my sterotypical and limited memory from that time 😄 👍

Agree with you on this one HornOxx. Wish more people built houses like this today….

Back in the early/mid sixties, there were still plenty of the wartime and immediate post ww2 prefabricated houses. Concrete cast panels glued together, mostly like these in your render, bungalows. There were about a dozen at one end of what was called "Banana park" and due to gentrification is now called "Latchmere gardens". There are still some of these around and you can "Buy" one easy enough but you will not get insurance or a mortgage to do so.

I like the render and project too.

Thanks Mike. Funny you mention “Latchmere Gardens” I’ve heard the name before, just don’t know where. Read it somewhere or maybe on the t.v. These style of homes were common when my family moved to South Florida in the 60’s. Cement block construction, low pitch and flat roofs. Don’t stick your house up in the air for the hurricane to push against. 😎
