A hovercraft was definitely the starting point for the model, but the "skirt" was reduced down to an inflatable bumper like that of a rigid inflateable... I think I will tackle a hovercraft as one of the next projects.

These are like brushes actually. Usually you can choose to burn (or dodge) highlights mid tones or shadows. I don't know much about photopaint, but should be there.

thanks massimo. it was the request of the architect to do the hedges in this way. I just used a polyline from cad, other more detailed vegetation didnt work well. It was to get the point across that there is a dense buffer zone between street and houses.

Hi Alex - really useful info - thankyou. The 'muddiness' is something I am conscious of. I'll bite the bullet and try your approach on my next piece. Guess this approach really forces you to think about your colour choices too... Once again, thanks for taking the time A.

@olishea said: ...although I only had two days... Given the time you had to make these, it's really great work and in the right presentation, I'm sure the clients were pleased with it...

Edson Great looking project and renders. I particularly like "13_ConjuntoCima.jpg" It's one of those images that captures the magnitude of the space that photographs alone can not portray. It's humbling when you are in the presence of majestic spaces like this and you realize that we are but a tiny part of this universe, yet we have the power to do so much harm to it. It's always a pleasure to see your work. Regards Phil
