Well, not noticing the walls banish was a faux pas alright. Opacity to 4% somehow. The floor too. Reassigned matt finish after deleting mats and reastarting Sketchup seems to be the charm. [image: 1740409939364-2-1000s-2174-x-1083-4m-14s-gpu-irfanview-resized.jpg]

Asirad, Adding the sweeps around the head of the bed did fix some design flaws. There are standards as to the spacing of crib slats and I believe it is 3" on center with no more than 2" of open space between slats (its been a while since I designed baby furniture to be built). I am still questioning the bar with the hanging toys on it. It just looks too low. Overall I really like the shape of the crib and your corrections are working while still staying true to your design. Well done. Scott

@cmoreink said: i like the perspective in last one. adding fumes and some heat in around engines. maybe an enemy missile chasing the jet? more textures!!! graphics! At this point the only thing thats stopping me to make all that are my PS skills The missile gave me an idea to make a comic. Maybe I'll even back up a little from the realism to make it.

@unknownuser said: I played around with panorama software (because you3dview only works with internet connection) and found Panosaldo (opensource, in fact that is behind you3dview). It allows to make tours with hotspots. I was lucky that I didn't have to learn how to open/edit flash files, but it is necessary to work with xml files . They have a new graphical user interface (not free) SpinControl This is also ruled by xml files an also they have a visual addon (commercial of course - but if I get some business with it, it will definitely be worth that couple of dozen of Euros). @unknownuser said: Also I would be interested what Google does with it's very sophisticated panorama system (now they want to include World Heritage Sites) Certainly there would be potential in that but I doubt it will be as configurable as these other pieces of software. I also read the WH site inclusion but that is for Street View (i.e. existing stuff and outdoors) only at least ATM. @unknownuser said: The surrounding walls are a bit bluish and tiling, but I like the stone floor! I know, that texture is really bad (the "client" insisted on it). I will definitely need to develop my own texture collection made from scratch and from photos of the real buildings. I still have a long way to go of course.

Nice work but I think it needs some color correction as the trees are very green and do not blend with the overall image. This makes me feel like a video game image. Like I walked through the forest in a first person shooter to find this tree house. Scott

Very nice presentation Andre. Don't you just love parking lot gates? The last one I did with a solid yellow arm, and matching background with a black letters warning sticker on it. A little better then strips, or not!!!-)

Overall a fairly clean render. can you post the material settings for the wall on the right? Also what version of Vray are you using? A few crits: The door needs a handle and some hinges. It seems to be floating without it. The exterior needs an image to help ground the the render. The chair material needs some work (too much noise). Your missing the details that can make this a great render (i.e. light switches, outlets, etc) Not sure what is going on with the pillow? on the left of the seating bench. For this to be a salon I see nothing that tells me that. The picture on the right wall seems really high. Fixing some of these issues will really help. Also, if you want help with materials we will need to know the settings you are using before answering any questions. Best regards, Scott

David, Nice images - I prefer the first as well. I don't think the jet contrails work in the second - feel too contrived and the one on left looks more like a ufo.(not that i have ever seen one ) If you took the background hint from the first image and made it warmer (pink) toward the horizon and darker (blue) at the top - I think it would work fine. @agf83 said: tks massimo and majid im agree the images are grainy, but i dont know what is the paramemter to fix appreciate the coments Very nice render, esp the first. I'm just asking if you got the Absolut bottle from the Warehouse? I'm looking for the same type of bottle, a much better version from the warehouse. Any ideas? About the noise, hope I am give you tips, but I don't render with Vray. But try looking for noise threshold, probably lowering them will help.

I've used the method from sketchup artists, completely to the directions. I have to say its not bad. I dont think its very water color esque, i think it gives a more comic book kind of effect. I'd post pictures, but I'm new to the whole posting thing and don't want to mess up.

Hi Roger Thanks For the kind words I relay appreciate it a lot. The trees had exactly the same purpose in this scene as whit your photographic work. The thing whit the renders here is that I wanted not to just let it look real. But to give it an extra artistic touch... That is what I try`t to achieve. best

hey oli, seen some of your stuff on twilight site, they look brilliant last images are test images(rendered in 15 mins,'shopped in 2) ie setting the scene, using previous photoshop additions from my collection. when i have this job worked out i will upload a hi res image . most of my images on this site are for fun, trying out new visopt configurations, looking for ways to enhance/create new moods.i have previously done night, rainy day and snow images(see below) and am at the moment trying to finalise visopts for these along with background skies.i am currently working on an autumn scene but with right lighting and trees ,it is hard to get the mood i i want. re this image the walls are just white colour at the moment, again trying to get a texture i am happy with. Once I get the lighting right I intend to upload a typical building with an overcast/summer/winter/night visopt along with a step by step photoshop tutorial of how I do it,if anyone is interested.
