Thomthom, I think this is very photo-realistic renderings and I like it. I dont mind the flooring material, I just think it would help if there were less of it in the foreground...cropping the image a bit more may help, because theres just too much of it and it takes away from all the detailed areas.

Looking good, Eric. All it's missing are the harsh overhead fluorescent lights, and it would be like my home away from home.

@unknownuser said: As lovely as they are I would like to see SU output too, if possible? Here you go Rich. Here are some views, one with the whole setup and another with just one piece of garland along with the ball. I changed the background to red so it shows up better. guys, i'm officially addicted to following the contest. for those that are unfamiliar with it, Jovoto is an excellent platform and there is a lot of competitions going on simultaneously. plus, it's a good place to show some love to fellow sketchuppers

The design seems interesting but I agree with minguinhirigue, the field of view distortion seems too much so it's hard to understand the model. I would like to see a render looking down at the model so it's easier to understand the whole design. I do like the atmosphere of the renders but maybe tone down the vignetting a little. Neat but I'd like to see more

3eighty Im not sure if I will be uploading her onto any other sites as Ive had People steal my models and sell them on other sites, and there isnt much I can do about it. If I can get my Turbosquid account working i might place her there, Oh and decoding xx files is higly illegal.

edson, i like the work. regarding this: @tfdesign said: I'm a big fan of Richard Rogers' social housing designs. These are a nice example; [image: PREFAB-FRIDAY-Richard-Rogers-Oxley-Park-Houses-01-707349.jpg] is there a social context to which those shapes / colors / proportions / windows / facades fit into? will those materials age gracefully? are they easy to maintain? will that curtain wall age gracefully and keep water out? when a panel fails - will common, easy to find materials be available to make repairs? is it a norm to not have 'defensible space' in the fronts of houses like this? are the interiors as sterile as the exteriors? will inhabitants be living in some sort of IKEA box? are people comfortable in the front - or do they hang out in the back yard (if there is one behind that fence)? will there be more trees? is this on a street with auto traffic, or pedestrian traffic? is the plaza or street sterile? (looking pretty sterile in its current form). can owners personalize the units? why not integrate lighting into the units? or do the social aspects of this area include living with parking lot style lights above one's head? just some questions. those aren't very warm or inviting. i can see a graffiti'd version of these with broken windows, broken down cars, and broken windows not far into the future. if the owner's don't have a stake, or a say, in how their environment looks / feels / is used / etc... its likely that they will have little respect for their surroundings. this was part of the problem of the housing issues from the 60s on in the states. herd people like cattle into housing that 'the experts' designed and programmed. i'm much more interested in the approach of the rural studio, started by sam mockbee in georgia. i wish i had known about the program before i jumped into a hi-tech, theory based grad program staffed by marquee named architects in a big city...

I really like the feeling in that last image. But there is something odd about the window reflections, and the lack of any blue in the sky makes it go from cheerful to a littlebit drab.

@floric, my apologies, but I'm really not sure. With Twilight making this is somewhat effortless. Tomasz may be able to answer this question in the SketchUp section of the Kerkythea forum.
