@dale said: Fred, your work just keeps getting better. Thanks @roger said: Where did you find the flying carpet? Looks like the left corner is revved up and ready to go. Ok just see it... @stefanq said: Fred, every time you make a new post, I become a bigger fan of yours. If you continue to do so, I'll be your number one fan. Since in the last topic of yours I brought into discussion the beautiful Candice, and after reviewing some of her images (Google images) I've noticed that your images are very "earthy" to say so. What I mean is that I think you need some blue or gray in your color scheme. Not saturated , and just here and there, like a sofa, a curtain or a small wall. I'm not very good with colors, I just love architecture and interior design more and more, and I don't necessary know what I'm talking about. It's just something that you could experiment. Regards, Stefan Thanks a lot Stef for your kind comment, I notice what you say about the colour shame.

I've definitely gotten a bit 'bloom' happy lately...not sure why. Maybe because I'm late to the game and just discovered it..haha. Agreed on that chick.. she was a rush job to get in there the first time and for whatever reason, I didn't replace her

I love the trees Im a big fan of the conceptual/NPR styles and I think these trees would be great for them. Regarding your render I think that the grass is a little too big, might have to scale it down a bit. Looks good though

Yes indeed, it was a lot of work. It took a whole school semester of 10 weeks. The details in the 4th and 5th picture are sketches made by hand. And I gave them a color in Photoshop. The 3d details below these sketches are rendered in Vray. The materials are named in indesign. Here is a simple interior render I made this morning for a presentation tomorrow. I ain't 100% satisfied with it, but the purpose of this render is to show how the steelwork was formed and to understand the details better. [image: interiorpsd.png]

Is that Mehmed II (the "Conqueror") on the left? (This is not a "corner" but a whole room though ) And of course, like the whole setup.

@carloh said: @leminilab said: Hi, I bumped into this thread by NicolasWeh on the Lumion forum and it made me think of your post: http://lumion3d.com/forum/gallery/like-an-architectural-contest/ I'm unsure you can view this unless you're logged in though... Here's one of his images, just in case: [attachment=0:21v6hk3y]<!-- ia0 -->PONENT NOCHE 10.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:21v6hk3y] i looked up the link in this post and i really like the palm trees he used...can someone tell me how he did them? i would say they are made in photoshop? on the other hand somehow it looks rendered (judging by the 3d'ish optic and the shadows) Those are speed tree models - "real" 3D although behave in a level of detail mode. Part of the Lumion rendering application 3D library.

Thank you guys, I really find these jobs fun! @Michalis - mate I haven't edited SU vectors though I have vectors created native in Layout. Though do tend to avoid illustrator at all costs. I just don't find it user friendly!

I am a podium user and have love it. But looking at these I have to say I prefer the Vray render. The lighting and detail seem much crisper and warmer.

@chedda said: These plants & flamingo i believe are credited to Solo (here on the forum). They were available from his site as a paid download see plant pack 1. I have bought these and can say they are very well made. They are included in the Podium V2 Browser in 3D plants and I agree, they are extremely well done. I wish there were more of that quality.
