Great feel to this model. Made the door window an area emitter and added a skybox.. [image: AKod_Lonely.jpg] EDIT: just for completeness given it way lying around on my desktop: [image: 50aT_Untitled_lightup.jpg]

Here is the model in the 3D Wharehouse. http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=c3a6e13716bb517ae0a60ad0e46ca969&ct=mdsa&prevstart=0 Also, when I was trying to add a motion blur to the propeller in the last shot it didn't work out, so if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

@richard said: I too like the second image, would love to see the fin pickup a bit more of the directional light with less ambient light. There's no ambient light in there, only an emitter. The lighting could do with some tweaking, though. I oughta get me a book on photographic lighting. @richard said: What are you using for lighting? Sky dome with some light panels?/quote] Image 1: skydome Image 2: emitter @richard said: Would love to see out of interest how your setting up these little projects of yours, maybe even a gallery of your works so far? I just muck about until I end up with something I like, Richard! A gallery? Maybe in due time.

@marked001 said: @wilsonilustra said: Hey Jason! this camera distortion was did at sketchup? how i can do it? play around with the field of view... select the Magnifying Glass in tools and then you can edit the field of view... these are probably all around 60 degrees... a little exagerated, but not too much (in my opinion)...the higher the number, the more distorted they get.. . good luck. Thanks a lot Jason! Thanks to share! Best regards from Brazil!

Wow, I really like that shot. The perspective messes with my head a little bit, but it's definitely dystopian future Second image >>> First image

I'm planning another couple of video's to describe how other parts of the ship work... One will focus on the Albatrosses, and I'll describe: -How the Cargo Containers are transferred from the storage modules to the Albatrosses. -How the Albatrosses are launched from, and docked with the 'Mariner. -How the Albatrosses deliver and pick up cargo. The other will focus on the major design concepts of the ship, and I'll describe: -How the propulsion system controls the ship. -How the ship distributes forces through its framework. -How the Artificial Gravity Rings (AGR's) work. I'm posting this here, because I'm hoping people can tell me what they'd be more interested in hearing about, and if there's anything else I should add to my list! Thanks in advance
