Looks much better. I know this sounds nitpicky, but it looks like the sky has a plane's contrail on the right, and it is lined up directly with the corner of the building. You should shift the camera slightly so it's off the corner.

I agree with the background and the house. Background too close/too big. There are some big trees on behind the house and I was trying to get that to work but I think I over did it for sure. As for texture mapping the wall - assuming this means giving it a material that works properly - I really struggled with this because of the shape of the wall. That is - beacause the wall curves so much and varies in height from 500mm to 1200mm I had problems modelling it in a way that didn't mess too much with the material I put on it. THere is a ctually supposed to be a double bullnose capping on it but I couldn't get that to work at all. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good! Maybe add some line work to the concrete sidewalk (control joints)to 'land' the building and also to direct your eye to the building.

Still can't get it working though, because I can't seem to find the right file. It should be called something like Blender+Cycles. But I can't find it on Graphicall. I use win7.

@deanlegg said: Hey Zach Nice work Can you tell us the technique you used Thanks Thanks, I had almost all parts already made from some of my previous bikes so i started with the frame and built onto it like you would a real bike.

Hi Tom, I concur completely with Chris regarding the greens in 5 & 6 though I find the brighter tones in 1-3 perfectly acceptable. In my opinion Tom, these are probably the best digital watercolours that you have posted over the years whereas in the past I felt the previous submissions were far too saturated using tones similar in strength to the green in 5 & 6. Obviously its completely your choice as the artist whether you choose to follow any advice from us but I for one like what this modified approach is doing for your work.

Sounds like in the 19th century, somewhere at the western frontier... "When railroad arrives here, I will check out what's in town" Chris, I was once at the Festival of Lights in Lyon. Now that's incredible! http://www.google.com/search?q=lyon+light+festival&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=10E&rlz=1R1GGGL_hu___HU354&prmd=ivns&source=lnms&tbm=isch&ei=fOTQTc7DOs6c-wb36sV0&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CAsQ_AUoAQ&biw=1176&bih=603

Come on guys, you shouldn't need to download anything.....there are very few things more simple to model than a nail or sphere. In fact, if you have the SP plugin or the add shape plugin, you don't even have to model the sphere. Cheers,

Haha! I checked the 3DW to see if anyone had done it, but never thought to check FormFonts. Looks like my memory is going too, as I apparently QA'd it.

Was curious to see if there was caustics on the shadow side, so i moved the light to the side and found some behind the apple and on the base of the metal. [image: Xby5_GlassAppleCaustics.jpg]
