Dragonslayer / Tony Welcome to SCF. The coding of games is not my realm however there are one or two guys that frequent this forum that will sure be able to help you, one of them is very active in the creation of a well known Isometric game called 'Sim City'. I am not a KT user so I cannot verify if it is able to render diametric images, however I do know that Blender is very well used for this genre and has a m3g export facillity. As far as detailing is concerned, it can be achieved with complex modeling, but that would just slow you down, creating detailed textures would be best IMO. Now Makehuman may be free and all but the sizes are rediculously large and frankly too detailed for the perspectives and gaming requirements, I unfortunatey do not know of any alternatives besides creating ones own lower poly textured people. If you however find any solutions or have a workflow that indeed works well please let us know as there lurks many interested folks on these forums.

Nice work, Tina. The last kitchen render is great - the added depth and realism of the shadows in combination with your style are stunning. Keep posting your progress.

That's sort of what I figured unfortunately. Any other ideas on how to do what I'm trying to?

Also " and ' are know to cause problems with SU2KT. Use plain a-z and 0-9 and _ or - then you safe.

Nice model GreyHead, although it is curiously stretched in the x direction in the zip file (easy to re-scale).

Here's a great text description tutorial by Frolfer12, and a link to the video tutorial for watching it directly.

@syburn said: Hi, How to get a decent relflected image in my reflected surfaces. I often only model stand alone elements and furniture etc so there will be no walls or ceilings etc. You can use simple studio light scene or like here or HDR lightning. Just find, buy or made suitable spherical hdr image for the sky. There are also some pre made HDR globals at Kerkythea repository. This simple render was done with HDR lighting and one IES light. OK, so I did some more digging. The setup I explained above will work fine, but it seems that two of the mentioned new low end machines will outperform the three custom built machines (some new parts some second hand parts) above, and will cost less than the three. My mistake the first time around. So guess which way I'm going... So it looks like I've solved the question regarding how well the setup will perform, questions regarding interoperability between OS's & KTe2008 versions remain. Topic over at the KT forum.

maybe you can use this plug in....its very cool but it just make one part of the process . it convert all the lines on faces, so then you have to push and pull the walls with out make the face http://www.iscarnet.com/sketchup/plugins/ruby/crear_caras.php

OK, I've just tried again and funnily it said I entered either a wrong username or my password was wrong. I use FF and I make it remember my login data on my home computer (only). I looked there and there was "Gaieus" but there were way less *s for the password than my normal one. I re-entered my password and it finally let me in (I actually checked my password manager in FF settings and there the correct password showed). Anyway, I'm in. I hope you guys didn't have a hack again!
