I posted this over at KT but figured I would post here too, hoping to get a quick response.Don't know if I'm missing something or this is another Vista issue but I've read Fletchs tut for turning spot lights to IES lights several times, have done everything as was explained. When I click edit spotlight to check it, the IES file is there (see pic). But when I render, I get no lighting. I have tried different IES files, putting them in different folders, tried different presets when rendering, yet no lights. Am I missing something?

        Hi Mike,

I have no experience with Vista, so can't say if that's what causing the problem... πŸ˜•

If you keep the lights as spot-lights, are they then working correct when you render your scene..??

If not then there must be an issue with where you've placed the spot lights...
If they render correct, then... πŸ˜• ...then I don't know... 😐

If they render correct with normal spot-lights, I suggest you e-mail the scene to me... frederik at kerkythea dot net

Thank you for the quick response Frederik, you were correct in that the problem was how I was placing the spotlights. I am just starting to take a serious try at KT, bit of a learning curve but I'm making progress and hope to post some decent renders soon.

Glad to hear that there was a rational explanation to your issue...

Looking forward to see your renders..!! πŸ˜‰
