@gamelon said: Thanks, gregw. Works like a charm. Is there some documentation describing this or other combinations? The documentation should have been installed when you loaded the 3Dconnection drivers. On my windows computer it's in the start menu under 3Dconnexion > Documentation. For what it's worth here's a few things that work well for me using the spacemouse with Sketchup: Assign one of the buttons to "Rotation On/Off" so then you don't have to hold the middle mouse button down to lock the rotation. Make a template file with the camera set to parallel projection and with scene tabs setup with the standard views so you can easily zoom and pan in any desired 2D orientation by selecting the scene and then using the assigned button to lock the rotation. The spacemouse also works great with adobe acrobat. I use a dual monitor setup and I normally have reference info in pdf format on one screen. I set the left button on the spacemouse to lock and unlock the zoom in the 3Dconnexion Acrobat settings when I select the acrobat screen. Long time no post, Anyone with experience running Su on the more recent Surface Pro 4 or a Surface Book? I am looking at getting one of the two (for photo editing tasks on the go) but it will be a bonus if it could handle SU decently, for the occasional editing. My doles are more medium size, not very complex. Both machines come with 6th Gen i7 processors , 2GB nVidia GC and 16 GB RAM. Any advice or experience with would be greatly appreciated, Khintanar

Yep, updated all plugins(checking this everyday) and set de scaling level to 200%. I also checked if this issue occurs on a 150% scaling and it does...Tried different things but nothing really helps. Already unplugged my screen again!

Wow! firstly the music to that promo video is awesome and secondly that promo video is jaw dropping. Gotta try this, looks phenomenal, so much improvements, almost like a whole new program. I will review this shortly once I have played with all the new features.

Maybe u are being unrealistic.. Haha.. But hey dont give up... Someday it will happen.. Or you could perhaps look into some more advanced applications like blender or 3dsmax with animation Capabilities! [THUMBS UP SIGN] Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

I have a i7 4930, 32 gb ram, p9x79, gtx 770 and all the rest I recovered from my previous built. I do recommend to buy a proper case. Rebuilding is a lot easier with a decent case. I'm very pleased about my fractal design Define R4. Until today I can render anything I have to in less then 15 min and at a very high quality.

It is nice to have valid competition; it pushes you to do better says G. Versace.. Every single sketchup releases, we all itch to recompose our wishlist to a point we give up wishing. I think these developments will propel Trimble to act faster than all of our wishlists combined would.. Many of us who started who from early stages of SU (free version) couldnt see much difference as far as native tools is concerned now that we are paying every release. SU owes its milestones to its users (and of course to loyal code writers). One of the ways SU could stay in the game is to consider "interoperability" with other 3d apps which is the strength of Autodesk. Why do i need 3rd party or a special plugin to import industry standard 3d formats?

In my experience the "Cancel" will be blue and you can push return to cancel. I want to push return to replace. (Used to be this way). Most common use for me is print to pdf and want to replace a drawing in the same directory that has a previous version. Want it to go faster-- I often have a couple dialogs that come up. Push return on this one, mouse to a button on that one. Eh Hundreds of time a week it seems. Just want to key it and done.

Too bad for me, my ASUS Z97-K board supports only AMD CrossfireX. Maybe I'll get GTX750ti, entry level. Hopefully it works fine. GTX 580 surprisingly high.. it's an old generation card, right? Hmmm, I might give it a try. On benchmark above- does 1.5 or 3GB RAM matter ?
