      Thanks TIG.
About ProgramData - soon I tested one renderer and it put files in Program data. (Do not remember which one - Enscape ??). So the ProgramData folder automatically appeared in Sketchucation-Plugins Menager.

Do you know all the directories searched at startup for support files and the order of loading? (Looks like ProgramData is in the list, or loader points there?).

    • RE: Template-Welcome-Window

I think SketchUp always check first its own directory for support files and then additional folders like Roaming and ProgramData.

Will be good if someone can explain and list SketchUp startup load order of directories and files.

Did you check SketchUp installation folder > Resources\en-US\Templates
(en-US or language pack you use)

      Or FredoScale-Box Tapering.

Front rectangles will be deformed and have to be corrected to keep the right angle

Fredo6, there is a tool in your plugin to show load times for plugins called 'Performances'.
Is it possible to track the load times for any plugin - not only yours?

    • RE: Printing Architectural Model.

There is a native tool in SketchUp > Tools > Outer Shell.
It will work only on solid objects i think.

    • RE: [Plugin Inquiry] Multiple pipe or profile extrusion plugin

Actually this is the same question as in the first post.
My wish is to have full control on curve points used for distribution of components (not only pipes).
Picture is made with lines + pipe plugin (Green elements has to be profiles). This way is not suitable for big number of profiles and more complex curves.
In your gif (with stringer plugin) we can not have full control on endings configuration (what I call "end-points curve").

      @box said:

For that sort of design I would be using one of the component stringers.

Box, how will you make similar configuration if start-points curve is different from end-points curve?
For example - In your gif above you start with wave but you like ends to form an arc (or zig-zag line or anything).

Is there a "stringer" with start and end points distribution curves (distributing profiles, not only tubes)?
May be another solution is something like - "replace lines with components", is there any similar plugin?

Materials are visible as thumbnails in Windows Explorer by default.
      I'm on Windows10 with SketchUp-2018.
      Try to repair SketchUp installation.

Here bevel angle is constant but octagon is not with straight lines.
DaveR proposal is to make very small second bevel to convert small octagon to circle.

      Use Fredo6_CurviLoft.
In the above picture circle is inscribed and 45 degree will be at points where circle touch the octagon. 45 degree angle will vary according to distance of corresponding points from octagon to circle.

    • RE: How can I make a smaller version of a sketchup file ?

Don't try to move, rotate, zoom or pan the model, just delete all instances of component#2 (components window, select all instances > delete) and file will behave normal.
I don't understand what are these components for, and cant check because it is impossible to navigate in model. Try to use texture instead, as i see components are too small for the scale of the object.
If those components are too important for you, you can make a separate drawing with small detail and description.
