Aha- well, I still don't understand how the licensing works...but restarting SketchUp made the latest toolbar available. And it appears there is NO 2D LINE STYLE tool! I used this a lot to make dashed and centerlines with thickness and color- out of groups of single lines.. Is this part of the extension gone???

edges are measured in pixels.. so if your style has edges set to 1px and you export an image 10,000px wide, the lines are going to appear tiny in the export.. if you want to export at that size with fatter lines, increase your profile settings in the style.. for instance, if your workspace is 1000px wide and you have edges set to 1px, you'll have to make your edges 10px to appear the same at 10,000px wide. with sketchy styles, there's a problem if i understand correctly how they work.. the sketchy edges are raster images so if they scaled according to your export size, they'd look horrible/pixelated when blown up.. they'd look the same as if you exported a jpg at 999px wide then in an image editor, increased the size to 9999px wide.. i don't know if it's possible but you might have to create a custom sketchy style with really thick linework -or- really high resolution in order to export a giant JPG which inherits the sketchy style.. (like so thick that when viewing in the model space, it will look bad with way-too-big edges.. but when exported at 5x size, they look normal/good)

@baggins said: must be a criminal mind at work when it comes to where the mystical "plug in" folder is lurking--i have looked in evry nook and cranny on my hd--nada--zip--kudos folks for creating the most obfuscating piece of ******* every conceived Evidently you didn't look in "every nook and cranny" because it is there. And you didn't read this thread before posting in it because it has been explained, above. On the PC, it is under your username/App Data/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2016/SketchUp/Plugins. It is located there because Windows set security so users can't install files in directories in Program Files and way too many users weren't able to figure out how to change permissions. The "criminal mind" as you call it also made it so that you shouldn't need to access the Plugins folder directly by offering the Install Extension tool as well as the extension Warehouse. And for extensions available here on Sketchucation, there is the Plugin Store tool which, like Extension Warehouse installed extensions/plugins automatically.

do you mean you wish to see two different folders at the same time? like this on a mac...[image: YSh3_2014-10-1604.03.30pm.png] also I know on mac you need to create a User path 'Components' folder for SU to auto load them... if you don't actually use Dropbox for sharing, move all the folder to the User/Components, or link the content so SU can find them. john

sketchydog Check the status of your inserted SU models File......Document Setup......References (status) Update if not current. You can also Rt-Click a SU model viewport and update reference. (Note: Very important to update all styes/scenes before save in SU...and then update LO model reference) Also, Won't hurt to occaisionally purge the LO model from time to time.(same file path) Charlie

Is "centerpoint.rb" key to any particular plugin? I don't know of any plugin I have called "Centerpoint", must be part of another one.

@cotty said: I'll try to be clearer, too (if a step in the SU-file is not clear, let me know...) how are you able to fill the intersected lines to get you from the non filled outline in step 3 of your model to the filled (gray) road in your step 4? thanks
