Right click gives me the three items listed previously.

Tab doesn't do anything.
What I get when right clicking in empty space (with nothing selected) is a context menu that has:

Invert Selection
Make Component
Make Group

What version of SketchUp?

I just tested it in SketchUp 2023 and it works fine.

Dave- I'm on 2022.0.354 64 bit on PC

Down on the status bar, I see:

2D Line Style: 1.0 Continuous_____Black. Right-Click(empty space)= Settings-Dialog. ,Enter>/Double-Click=End.

But when I right click in empty space, there's no menu that pops up.

I've enjoyed using 2D tools for years, especially LINE STYLE.
Recently my Line Style tool doesnt work correctly. All it does is hide lines.
In the past, you would right-click out in space beyond the model, and you'd get a context menu. (width, color, etc) That doesn't happen anymore. There's no menu.
Other tools in the set seem to work OK. Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?

Aha- well, I still don't understand how the licensing works...but restarting SketchUp made the latest toolbar available. And it appears there is NO 2D LINE STYLE tool!

I used this a lot to make dashed and centerlines with thickness and color- out of groups of single lines.. Is this part of the extension gone???

I've been using TOS for years. Now on a new machine.
The toolbar is available, the extension is loaded. I have downloaded the latest from SUC.
In drilling down into the product literature, I see that there is licensing after the trial period. Earlier this year I purchased the license bundle which included Tools On Surface and Topo Shaper. TopoShaper works, TOS partially works. I cannot get the 2D LineStyle tool to function.

Most importantly, I halve downloaded all the licenses from SUC, but nowhere do I see in Tools, Extensions or anywhere else, Fredo's instructions for applying the licensing. Maybe it's not recognizing my license and will only give me limited use?

How do I apply licenses?
Any help would be appreciated.

This is NOT working for the primary task. Add a new layer for This Scene Only.
When I do this, the layer shows up in every scene. Nothing different than making a new layer narmally.
What is going on?

Some comments:

first of all, have been running it fine on SU 2015. Today, I attempted a few Custom Styles, and now I am stuck with the most recent Custom Style, and right clicking in empty space no longer gets me a menu. I went back to a saved version of the file a couple of hours earlier, before I attempted the Custom Style, and 2D tools works fine. It's apparently only in THIS file that it will not work. I have run Cleanup. I have done a SaveAs to another name. No good. Apparently this file is not going to run 2D Tools Line Style again. What happened?

Also- a couple of other comments:

1. It's strange how, for the color options, we get a huge pallete of colors...and I'm not sure where they come from...but they change...and frequently I'll go back for "Goldenrod" or some other color, and it's not on the list anymore! The list appears to be a selection in the middle of a greater range of colors. In other words, soehow I sense that there are colors above and below the menu but cannot get to them.

2. Would be very good to get widths greater than 144.

3. Would be good to have some sort of way to handle curves. It's strange when a property line "goes solid" for a short segment or a curved segment.
