They just keep getting better. The lo-fi music fits so well with the visuals too.

RE: Cotation des angles
Hello Can someone help me, I don't know how to dimension an angle. No matter how hard I look, I can't find any tool for that. Thank you for your help

RE: SU imported texture resolution
You can set SketchUp to use max texture size...
I've never found further info on its usage other than its off by default to keep SketchUp performant.
But if your render app is showing lower resolution its likely related to the app rather than SketchUp.

RE: Work Related
Reminds me of the old Piranesi app. Way better results though.
Try https://app.myarchitectai.com/ on your sketches

RE: Animate movements the wrong way
Examine your timeline elements to locate where the transformation is inferring it's pointof origin.
Or start again and be very deliberate when selecting objects and naming things to help identify issues
-
RE: Animate movements the wrong way
Its not necessarily a change or bug. You could see a desired animation while editing or creating but when you return to the timeline then you see the impact your pick point is causing.
I only discovered this behaviour relatively recently and after raising it with Fredo. He pointed out that I was inferring a transformation from another object. Hovering the timeline is a way to see such behaviour.

RE: Animate movements the wrong way
Hard to say but in most cases where things start to go wrong it related to the 'pick point'
If you hover the item in the timeline it tells you more info.

That brick and roof texture is so nice.
Much prefer the latest without the foreground trees. Yummy renders all of them

RE: Glass pavilion in a forest (Brief)
Grok's critique of ChatGPT's image...
This image depicts a serene, nature-integrated architectural design, blending modern aesthetics with natural surroundings. Here are some critiques:
Positives:
- Integration with Nature: The building's extensive use of glass allows for an unobstructed view of the surrounding forest, creating a sense of being within nature while still providing shelter and modern amenities.
- Lighting: The warm internal lighting contrasts beautifully with the cool, natural light from outside, creating a welcoming ambiance.
- Minimalist Design: The clean lines and lack of clutter in both the architecture and the landscaping emphasize simplicity and elegance.
- Reflection in Water: The placement of the building near water, with its reflection, adds a layer of tranquility and visual depth.
- Sustainable Aesthetic: The design suggests a low impact on the environment, fitting well into the natural landscape without overwhelming it.
Critiques:
- Privacy: The extensive glazing might compromise privacy during the day unless it has smart glass technology that can turn opaque.
- Energy Efficiency: While the glass provides views, it could also lead to significant heat gain or loss depending on the climate. The energy efficiency of such designs depends heavily on the type of glazing and insulation used.
- Maintenance: Glass structures can be high maintenance due to cleaning needs, especially in a natural setting where leaves, dust, and other debris might accumulate.
- Durability: In a forest setting, the building might be exposed to falling branches or wildlife, which could pose risks to the structure or require additional maintenance.
- Seclusion vs. Accessibility: While the setting appears secluded, which might be ideal for a retreat or private residence, accessibility for emergency services or daily needs could be challenging if it's too remote.
Suggestions for Improvement:
- Smart Glass: Incorporate smart glass technology for privacy control.
- Energy Considerations: Use triple-pane windows or other high-efficiency glazing to manage thermal performance better.
- Safety Enhancements: Consider materials or designs that can withstand natural impacts, like reinforced glass or strategically placed barriers.
- Accessibility: Ensure there's a clear, well-maintained path for access, possibly integrating it into the landscape design.
Overall, the design is visually stunning and conceptually impressive, promoting a strong connection with nature. However, practical considerations like privacy, energy efficiency, and maintenance should be addressed to make it a functional living space.
