Thanks for another great one. One question. See my attached screengrab. When i run Clean3 the window turns grey (like your other plugin vray tools). When the screen greys out i can still see the model, is almost like a preview window. Is that right? is there a preview feature that I am not seeing.

I am using SU 8 Pro on Windows 7 machine if that helps.

How about this? What do you do when you have elements on an elevation that are not orthogonal with the view plane as in walls that are at an angle and receding away from the viewer?

Yes indeed, Zorro2 will cut through nested entities. There is a bit of clean up needed afterwards as some surfaces may need to be healed depending on how the section cut cuts through the objects.

Many thanks TIG. Is there a way to make this work on a non solid group? Or nested groups? zorro does something like what i need but is view dependent, you have to view your group from an orthogonal view if you want a "straight" cut.

When using HDRI for lighting a scene every tutorial out there points to having two versions of the same image, a high res and a low res version of the same. I surmise is to most effectively use processing power. But, if you have say a high res hdri only, what is the proper way to create a low res version of the same without screwing things up?

@ ThomThom. Yep. running the 32 bit IE. don't know why that is since i have 64 bit Win7...

in Windows 7, at least on my machine, if you browse to a folder containing Sketchup files with say, internet explorer, the icons magically reappear.

took your suggestion and replaced the object in the scene. Since you authored the scene is ok with you? I had to lower the emitters on the sides slightly to suit my need.
